I'm running out of ways to compliment and praise this restaurant up on their fish and chip night. They all deserve a big pat on the back for the brilliant service they give. Don't take my word for it just book and go. Marvelous.

My friend and I recently went to the White Swan, and had cod and chips, and prawn tagliatelle. The staff are very friendly and polite. Thoroughly enjoyed the meals. We would definitely recommend this place if you’re a keen fish eater. My only criticism would be that it is a bit noisy, possibly because it is a small place, with a lot of people. Will definitely go again.

Found the menu a bit safe,but what we had was cooked to perfection,had a small problem with one of the meals and was resolved quickly and professionally,staff were excellent ,would definitely return but menu needs to be a bit more adventurous.

We have been to the White Swan many times and have never been disappointed. Food is always excellent and staff are friendly and helpful. Many thanks to everyone involved

Amazing food & service

1st time attending this fish restaurant there was four of us and we all thought the quality of the fish was excellent, we really enjoyed it, the service from the waitress was also excellent the restaurant was lovely and warm on a bitterly cold evening. We will certainly be going back again.

Fantastic meal. The Dover Sole was sublime. Great friendly atmosphere. What's not to enjoy!

First time here and tried on two for one deal. We are discerning where food is concerned and can say that the food quality was excellent. Ignoring the deal we still see that the value for money is also good. Warmth of welcome and service was also very good. Can I ask customers on a “ deal “ to NOT. Give their tips on the same basis. The service was 100% and therefore I would always give my 10% based on what the meal would have been without the deal.

We have been meaning to try this restaurant for a while. We're not local, but have used the shop many times. We visited for the Valentine's meal and were very impressed. The food was excellent and so beautifully presented. The waiting staff were very pleasant and the restaurant itself had a lovely atmosphere. Thank you for a super evening!

Had the most amazing valentines food ! Sensational flavours , cooked beautifully and fantastic presentation. Talked about visiting this place for ages and now wondered why the hell we didnt do it sooner. Defo going to go back a lot
