We came for a birthday celebration and absolutely loved it here. The food was outstanding. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. We will definitely be returning.

This was our first time at the smokehouse as we had been recommended by relatives . We was not disappointed it was lovely and the food was delicious we will definitely come again . The only thing that might put people off it didn’t bother us tho is the bar for the customers is in the restaurant and can get a bit noisy

Booked for my dad's 70th birthday celebration meal on the way to our holiday. The food, atmosphere and staff were excellent so much so we returned again during our holiday. Amazing portion sizes at reasonable prices....I'd highly recommend the ribs....delicious! Spoke to a wonderful waitress called Branwen who explained it is a family business. She was very friendly and happy to help in any way possible especially with the dietary needs of my son. Fabulous outdoor space too....plenty of al fresco dining available and live music every Thursday night. Play park also to keep the little ones entertained while the adults sit and relax. Only down side is its not near where we live as would be a regular customer. This restaurant is doing everything right and if we are ever back in the area we will be visiting again.

We were recommended by family and brought along our grandson. Staff were courteous and helpful and the place was clean but rather dark in some areas, we asked to move table and we're sat in a much lighter area. The food was good, fresh and served well but portions were enormous, one criticism was the salt used on the onion starter , far too much, made it inedible.

Throughly enjoyed our meal last Saturday evening. Good value for money, service was extremely good especially our waitress Roxanne who was most attentive answering our questions regarding how we could have our meals, have already booked to return for our next visit.

I have been wanting to try the smokehouse for ages but never been able to get a table so was really pleased to be able to get a table booked on my birthday and wasn’t disappointed food was excellent and the atmosphere was great we sat outside as the weather was lovely all in all a lovely meal was had and will definitely return again soon

We initially booked a table inside the restaurant for 20.30 but after contacting the smokehouse a voice recording said that if we were happy to eat outside then we could turn up at any point. We decided to go a little earlier at 18.30 and I asked the manager wearing the red T-shirt and long dark hair if we just found a table or if we needed to wait to be seated, her response was very dismissive and she said that they were fully booked for food (even though there were empty tables) and that we would not be able to order food until at least 21.00, I mentioned that we’d booked a table inside for 20.30 and she said we you’ll have to wait until then, she then told us to check in at the desk with another person who was lovely and very accommodating, she told us that we were in luck and could have a table outside, but we might have to wait 45 minutes for our meal which we were ok with, however the person in the red t shirt who was a manager interjected and told her that we would have to wait at least an hour for our meal, we sat down and ordered our meals and surprise surprise our meals were brought to our tables within 30 minutes!! The service and quality of the food was really good but the whole experience of our family meal out whilst on holiday was spoilt by the surly attitude of one person, I might have taken it personally but I overheard her saying the same thing to other customers, I think she needs a refresher on customer service. The owner really needs to reevaluate their staffing as this could be detrimental to the business.

Really disappointed with the service from the staff and mangers. Been coming to the restaurant for the past two years, every time we visit family members. My mothers meal was unacceptable, the chips were cold/ greasy and her ribs were to burnt to eat. My sons meal was Slung on the plate. Waited and hour + for our meals. Spoke with the managers about the issues they were not helpful at all. One manager walked off and we didn’t see him again. In the past have had no issues but it seems a whole new batch of staff are there not which does not give it the same vibe / customer service. When we asked for another drink, there was no staff to been seen. They were all outside talking and taking photos.

Visited The Smokehouse on July 20th as a party of 6 - 3 adults and 3 children. We decided to sit outside - lovely weather, plenty of tables, and was quiet. A very friendly and helpful young man brought us some menus, and came back a short while later to take out order. The kids had meals off the children's menu. Fantastic value, and they loved the food. Us adults ordered different burgers. The food came out at the same time and was obviously freshly cooked. The portions were extremely generous (so much so that we asked for boxes, and brought half of it home). All the food was absolutely delicious - I wish I had their coleslaw recipe! I would highly recommend this place. If I find myself in this area again, I will definitely be back!! Its a must go to place!!!

brought the Family here for our first Meal Out as a new Family of 4. I think any parent is nervous when bringing newborns & toddlers to eat out .. but the Team were fantastic. Tom our waiter was very attentive; and the Hostesses were interacting with the Kids at all opportunities. We’re booking again before we leave :)

Upon arrival we were greeted very warmly. We were quickly shown to our table and met with drinks by Abbie. Abbie and Cody were constantly checking that we were okay and that we were pleased with the service. Would go again. Highly recommend
