Brilliant seafood all round.

Wow had a lovely meal at The White Swan Friday 16th January The food was amazing wonderfully fresh fish, staff where attentive and nothing was to much trouble and a lovely relaxing environment Empty plates ALL round See you again very soon

We had a fantastic lunch at the White Swan last week. Service was excellenyt. The food was delicious and beautifully presented and the wine was very good value for money. We will definitely be back!

Lunch on Thursday. Starters of scallops and chowder were delicious. My partner’s tuna looked lovely, however I was extremely disappointed with my seafood platter at £24,95. The dish consisted of a side salad, prawns, whitebait, squid plus another item but ALL COVERED WITH BATTER. Obviously from the freezer. To my memory the menu did not mention that the main contents were battered. Thanks goodness the cockles were not battered. Certainly not good value especially for a fresh seafood retailer and restaurant.

Food was fresh and tasty. It was a Fish and Chip night and they had run out of Skate which was slightly disappointing. Staff very friendly and lovely atmosphere . Would recommend.

We had a wonderful, tasty lunch in a lovely atmosphere. The staff we attentive (without being over the top) and kind.

Wednesday 31st December we expected it to be fish and chip night. Oh no it was Festive menu night. Wow what a choice. My wife had the sea bass with accompanying trimmings and I had the 12oz sirloin steak. Absolutely fantastic. What a restaurant- food and drink to die for, friendly staff, reasonably priced food and comfortable surroundings. Brilliant! Top notch! Thank you.

We had a wonderful meal superbly cooked by the chef with excellent service from Ione and Danni

Had another fab meal, skate with veggie which was beautiful as a main, my partner had Fish (Haddock) with Chips with mushy peas couldn’t fault it

Honestly, I have eaten in some amazing restaurants, including many Michelin stars, and this was right up there with those restaurants!! Incredible food and the service was amazing. I had the lobster Thermidor which was out of this world and my husband had the John Dory, both were unreal! Perfect way to end 2025 for a delicious meal in the white swan. Highly recommend

1st time in Restaurant, food was fab as was service, my partner had the Special board Halibut, I had traditional fish and chips. Service was great as well, we visited shop afterwards and took sea bass fillets home. Will defo return
