Very impressed with the Wednesday evening deal of 5 dishes for £40 and 2 for 1 cocktails. Great range of delicious dishes to choose from, nicely presented, our favourites were the lamb rump, flat iron steak and onion bhaji’s, plus the cookie dough from ‘the greedy one’ on the desert menu. Relaxed atmosphere and modern decor, very friendly and efficient service.

Relaxed drinks at the bar to start. Followed with 5 scrumptious tasting dishes and a delightful bottle of red wine. I really can’t recommend this place enough.

Went to Denmans to celebrate my birthday. We have been before & it certainly didn't dissapoint. The food is delicious & the 5 dishes for £40 is definitely value for money. The chef is very talented. The whole experience is great. Will be visiting again hopefully soon.

First time for us. Warm welcome on a Thursday evening, early doors but soon got busy! Enjoyed the small plates,event for the offer 5 for £40, with a bottle of house wine at £15..... Also thoroughly enjoyed the 2fir price of 1 on cocktails offer!! Good food, excellent presentation, good wine!!!! Rebooked!!

Food was lovely and arrived quickly. Nice and warm inside on a rainy cold day. Already picked what I'm having next time and might even squeeze in a piece of cake.

Went to Sunday supper club the food was amazing as usual.

Large variety of dishes to choose from, great quality food, amazing flavours & good value for money. Even the house wine & cocktails were spot on. The service, staff and ambience were also excellent. Can’t praise it enough- deserves to be in the Good Food Guide!

We had booked a table and arrived a little early, so our table was not ready. It wasn’t a problem we were very quickly seated until our table was available. Such pleasant service, good atmosphere. We enjoyed our coffee and tasty cake while the grandchildren enjoyed delicious milkshakes. Be back again.

What a little gem in the tiny village of Shelf. Superb food served in fantastic ways with bursts of flavour. The very best ingredients, great wines and excellent service. This should be on all the foodies bucket list. Cant wait to return

Me and the mrs came all the way from Birmingham as we was staying in Halifax and I came across denmans and I’m so glad I did the food was unreal such quality, beautiful little restaurant well worth the money

Thoroughly enjoyed Denmans. Highly attentive staff and lovely intimate ambience to the restaurant. Food was delicious and good array of dishes to choose from. Particularly liked that there was no rush to be out within a certain time - able to really relax and enjoy the whole dining experience. Will definitely be returning in future.

Not impressed, how is it "social dining" when both meals come for 1 person and the other persons come after they first person has finished. Preferred the original special board menu. Not for us very disappointed, was so looking forward to this meal. won't be going again. Food was nice but was not value for money,

We had a delicious meal at Denmans on Friday. There was a good choice of small plates, the variety was good. I had a great cocktail and too much wine. Service was exemplary and the ambiance was just right. Thoroughly enjoyed our evening out.

We had a lovely meal on Saturday night. Staff were attentive and friendly would definitely recommend. We will return again soon.

I cannot fault a single thing in this restaurant. The food is phenomenal and the service is fantastic. We love Denman’s, it has quickly become our favourite restaurant.
