This is the second time we have been to Denmans and it was just amazing as the first. The food, the service and atmosphere was amazing!!! Would definitely recommend, such a boutique restaurant in the area, producing amazing food for such a good price.

First time going on Friday 30th August. Drove past the restaurant a few times. Looked it up online/Facebook, The menu looked good. We had 6 dishes, all fantastic . Not rushed, and friendly service . Will definitely go back and recommend.

Outstanding food, service & value

Had a lovely meal with friends Saturday August 24 at 6pm. We booked the day before and pre-ordered on the day as there was an event on at Piece Hall. The food arrived on time and was good value - the drinks were also fab (note to return and have more cocktails!) The staff were very friendly and helpful even though it was incredibly busy.

What a remarkable restaurant this is. Our first visit and was very impressed with it. We ordered 5 dishes and then desert all was very enjoyable. My only thing I can advise on is we got the surf and turf and the meat came rare to medium but my wife doesn't like the blood side of it. So if your the same just ask for it cooked to your liking. For the 5 dishes 2 deserts a bottle of wine and 2 drinks for me it cost £103 which I didn't find to bad. We both left pretty full and enjoyed our meal out.

First time here, beautiful food love the fact the menu switches weekly. All the plates we had were delicious! Loving family feeling and cosy atmosphere.

The midweek offer is very good value and the food was fantastic as always.

4 of us dined here on Yorkshire day, 3 meals were ok, 4th one BLT sandwich, toast dry and hard, bacon very well done and inedible

Lovely lunch. Food fresh, piping hot and full of flavour. Excellent coffee. Waitress friendly, articulate and clearly proud of a job well done. Made every effort to ensure we had a good experience. Would definitely recommend!

We had a fabulous meal on Friday night and the service was also great. Although we are Aussies and 1 pound is the equivalent of 2 dollars, this was great value for money and superb quality. Just visit. You won’t be disappointed. Cannot fault anything.

We visited for my husband's 40th birthday and enjoyed a delicious menu of imaginative food. We'll definitely be back again.

Enjoyed a very pleasent meal here on Friday early evening... Food delicious.. Very reasonably priced. Staff very professional. Really kind and polite.. A gentleman was training up a new member of staff and he did it so well, engaging with the staff in question and guiding them gently through what would be expected of them.. We where on a visit to Halifax and we will be coming back and eating at Totem. Small attention to detail... We where going to Tom Jones at the Piece Hall, background music inside Totem was a selection of Tom Jones music.
