The Pig Hotel – Brockenhurstgreat food great atmosphere really well designed and sensible prices well worth a visit
Chives – Hayling IslandExcellent! Best meal my wife and I have had all year. Service quick too. Well done. Tony Perry
The Greyfriar – LissHave been here a number of times, the food is always great and service although slow when busy still ok. The choice of food is fab with large portions and delicious! would recommend..only minus is the height criteria for children, they are charged adult prices if over 4'7 which I think is unfair!
Pilgrim House Chinese Restaurant – Southamptonhave only been here once but not as nice as pilgrim house or various others I could mention, pricier for less.....
Charlie Chan Chinese Restaurant – SouthamptonThis was without doubt one of the best meals I have had in the last ten years. The staff were attentive, the food hot and delicious;altogether a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Well worth it!
Waterfront Brasserie – Lee On The SolentMust have changed hands. Not as good as it was on our previous visit some months ago. Crab Pate on toast looked like and tasted like Shiphams Paste, a 10oz Rib Eye that was about 6mm thick, deep fried fish fillet of very thin proportions and lots of bones with greasy chips. A return to the use of a single towel in the toilet that was screwed up and wet. Sorry will not be back.
The Plough Inn – AndoverDon't bother going here!! Food disgusting. Staff rude, scruffy and slapdash!!
The Mad Cow – Isle of WightIn my opinion, this is the best Chinese restaurant in the UK. Unbelievably friendly service, good food, relaxing atmosphere, comfortable surroundings and stunningly beautiful waitresses! And if you want class, this place sells 'Krug' and 'Louis Roederer Cristal' champagnes on request! What other Chinese restaurant sells that sort of stuff? I would not dream of going anywhere else. To me, this Chinese restaurant is Heaven!!!
Imperial Garden – FarehamWe booked the George Inn on Saturday the 2nd of May for my fathers 63rd birthday after being told that it had a nice setting on the river Avon. This turned out to be a huge mistake. Upon being seated we found that we hadn't been given any menu's. After waiting 15 minutes, I thought I had better go and ask for some. When I finally found a waitress she simply refused to believe this and came over to the table to check. After realising that we didn’t in fact have any menu’s she passed the 5 of us 4 menus, one of which was missing the starter page. Once we had ordered and waited around 30 minutes, 2 of the 5 starters arrived at the table, followed 10 minutes later by 2 of the main courses. Upon inquiring as to what was going on, we were told by a very rude waitress that all the meals were coming out together. After explaining that this wasn’t what we had requested an extremely surly waitress came over to check our order. It then came to light that they had in fact lost half or the original order. This wasn’t before she managed to be even ruder than the waitress that tried to bring the main courses out. To be fair to her, she did apologise. Once we had reordered, we were left with another 30 minute wait for the other starters to arrive. When we finally received all the starters and had eaten them, the empty plates were left sitting on the table for just under an hour before being cleared. At this point we decided that the only option was to complain to the manager. Upon finding him he asked whether we had booked, we replied that we had. He then informed us that there was nothing he could do as they were very busy. When the main course finally arrived it looked very much like they had simply reheated the 2 main courses that had been brought out earlier. One of which was a rather dry looking fish pie that for some reason contained blue cheese. Other than that the food was acceptable and we promptly paid the bill and went to leave where we found that the front door had been locked. I’m guessing this is because a few tables had got up and left without paying the bill. Who can blame them as it took us nearly three and a half hours to eat a starter and main course. In addition I wouldn’t ordinarily mention such things but during the meal I needed to visit the toilet only to find that it contained neither toilet paper nor soap.
The George Inn – FordingbridgeExcellent restaurant , good menu , helpful staff and the wine is excellent as well ! The take away menu is just as good!

Bombay Night – New MiltonI would recommend Christina's to everyone,Friendly staff, and the food was delicious with very large portions and excellent value for money. my son said he can't wait to go back.
Christina’s Restaurant – SouthamptonHmm, the worst meal of my life. Being a vegetarian I am used to accepting 3rd rate stuff but this place took the biscuit. I went on a Sunday with my family and asked for the advertised vegetarian Sunday main course option, expecting a nut-roast or pasta something. No, I got one Yorkshire pudding, peas, carrots and grayc, which took about two minutes to eat. Basically, this was just the stuff that the meat eaters got but without the meat. Thoughtlessly and borishly they had thought, 'ah let's do a vege option - just charge them the same price and give them the vegetables without a main course'! Brilliant. Absolutely pathetic. Also, the place was awash with screaming children running about, there is a climbing frame in the corner of the 'restaurant' from which ear-piercing screams come now and again. Don't bother with this place, just go to McDonalds.
Brewers Fayre – Andoverabsolutely fantastic food .good value for money

Its open fires, wooden beams, historical photos and comfortable décor give it a very welcoming atmosphere. The bar has a good selection of real ales and an extensive bar menu. To finish it off there is the Braganza room, which is available for any type of function.
