This is the second time I've visited the Platform Tavern for a Sunday roast. Both times it has been delicious. I had roast beef the first time & lamb on the second visit. You get plenty of food & it's good quality. The staff are really friendly & nothing is too much trouble. The pub has a lovely atmosphere too & everyone is made to feel welcome. I will definitely return for another roast & highly recommend a visit.
The Platform Tavern – SouthamptonI went there with my sister in law on a Sunday so had the carvery. The service was quick, everyone who we interacted with, was helpful, smiling and friendly. The food was very good, hot and tasty, the cauliflower cheese had a really creamy and cheesy taste. A very pleasurable experience and will definitely be going back soon, on a weekday to try something from the normal menu.

The Master Builder – SouthamptonLadies lunch on Wednesday 11th February 7 of us, we were very impressed with everything, newly decorated, clean and inviting, lovely fire. Meals were all very nice, we choose the small plates, tasty and enough. Staff nice and friendly, good prices. We had one small hiccup, 3 meals had peas, they were all cold, we thought they had forgotten to heat them ? Quickly sorted out, the 3 diners were all given a complimentary desert , perfect .
