Our favourite pub we love the chilli Nacho starter and the pies are proper with short crust pastry and plenty of gravy and a good slice of pie. Music is always good atmosphere good and a great selection of ales. Staff lovely.

We booked in advance, because my friend and I had 4 dogs between us, and we were given a table in the corner which was perfect. I would highly recommend a visit and will be recommending them to my family and friends. Thank you for a great lunch.

We were welcomed at the pub by a very happy friendly barman and he made sure everything was just perfect for us all. Our food arrived within minutes of each others which was great, the food was all home cooked and fresh, we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We will definitely go back again. Highly recommended.

Can only reiterate other reviews - excellent food, very friendly service, great ambiance with the open fire. Not a great lover of live music but this was pitched just right without blasting my ears! We will definitely return.

If anything, and I'm being picky here, the chilli portion could be a bit bigger. Hubby was pinching our chips as he didn't have enough. Service was good and everything appeared to be freshly cooked.
