We’ve been wanting to visit a while as it was recommended by work colleagues. What can I say that others haven’t. Nothing really it’s everything people say. Excellent food, great value and great service. The thing with the food is although the portions are large the quality is first class. Only downside is the car park could do with some repairs as a bit potholed

Outstanding in every way. Waited on within minutes from attentive and wonderful staff. Menu is so extensive and crossing many cultures. The belly pork bited starter is the best belly pork starter I've had! Main courses are huge but also top notch in quality and presentation. Although this is a restaurant it's also got a hustling bar which gives such a warm feel to the venue. Our visit last night was 10/10 simply couldn't fault it. The crispy chilli beef parmo? Wow! Pizzas just been added makes it even more enticing.

Absolutely no criticism of our visit other than portions are pretty large, ordered a potato skin starter which would be a starter for 4 I had the “ geordie parmo”which was huge and delicious but I’m ashamed to admit I couldn’t finish it all, lessen learned be careful ordering a starter in the future

First visit for my Son's birthday. We arrived a little earlier than the booking time, however we were shown straight to our table. The pub was busy, most tables were booked out, which for a Monday night was good to see. A difficult decision to choose from the menu, as there was plenty of choice. Once we ordered we didn't wait too long at all, food was hot, well presented and delicious!! Service 10/10 Value for money 10/10 Food 10/10. We will be back.

We have ate here many times and always been really good but had Sunday lunch yesterday and was slightly disappointed with the overall service as 2 of the group had a sharing platter and after asking for certain meats were advised that they would have to choose something different as bone available and also advised to come earlier, however, 4pm was only time available to book. One of the group’s meal didn’t arrive and we had to ask a few times so think this was missed off the order and by the time it arrived the rest of our party were pretty much finished food. I am hoping that it was just a one off as normally really good.

Food was beautiful and the staff was very friendly and helpful making sure we had everything and if we wanted anything else the service was quick aswell massive portions of food so definitely worth the price definitely be back again

Visited last night party of 5 for a birthday celebration, plenty of choice on the menu and fresh delicious food. Whilst we were there the pub unfortunately had a power cut, staff couldn’t have been more apologetic and came round with tea lights so we weren’t in total darkness. Will definitely be returning.

Excellent food and service

My wife and I are regular customers at your pub and we love the food however on 12/01/25 we booked a table for 3 and I’m not sure if the normal chef wasn’t working or you’ve acquired a new chef but the lunch wasn’t as nice as it usually is. The gravy was so so salty so much so the my granddaughter and my wife left most of theirs due to this. Both my wife and I noticed the beef wasn’t the same it was so thinly sliced it didn’t taste or seem like real beef from a joint. I ate the most and have suffered bad heartburn since and I’m blaming the salty gravy. My wife would have complained but yous were that busy she didn’t like. The guy who served us brought 3 pints of orange & soda when we asked for halves and it was like drinking soda water so they were all left. I spent nearly £40 and feel it was money wasted. I’m hoping this occasion was a one of as like I’ve mentioned already we love the food here.

Having heard soo much about this place we decided to book for a birthday meal. Didn’t disappoint. We went for the Sunday dinner. Amazing. Great atmosphere and lovely welcoming staff. Will definitely be back.

Visited The Beehive on a Saturday evening with the family, first of all you have to book otherwise you will not get a table. Pub was packed when we arrived, and the atmosphere very friendly as it’s a local pub. Our table was all set waiting for us. From the minute you sit down you are greeted in the most friendly way you feel like you’re a regular. Drinks were served while we looked at the menu, it took while for us all to choose as the menu is very good and varied. The servers kept check to make sure we were okay or needed any help with the menu. Once we had made our choices with an adjustment to one dish which again was no problem as everything is cooked from scratch, more drinks were brought. Had a short wait for the food which happens when it’s cooked to order, when it arrived it all looked fantastic both from a presentation and quality point of view. We had five different dishes and everyone was superb, great portion size with so much flavour, so no recommendations you will have to find your own favourite. All I can say is fantastic food in a great atmosphere with the best hosts.

2nd time visiting the beehive and still not disappointed food was absolutely unbelievable such a relaxed atmosphere and beautifully decorated food is always 2nd to none and very high quality

Food is always amazing here, service is fantastic all staff are very friendly never a long wait for food, fantastic choice of menu everything looks incredible this time I opted for the lobster ravioli which was so tasty I really enjoyed it. Only thing I could say maybe a little more ravioli and only got 4 little prawns in the dish espically when it was £17 but overall it never fails this place

Absolutely amazing service and top quality food we as a family will definitely be back.
