Lovely food amazing little pub, only issues is the car park full of pot holes. as i was walking to the entrance I tripped face planting the floor. was asked if i was okay by staff and that was it.

Excellent food, great value and great service. The thing with the food is although the portions are large the quality is first class. Only downside is the car park could do with some repairs as a bit potholed
The Beehive – Houghton-le-SpringOutstanding in every way. Waited on within minutes from attentive and wonderful staff. Menu is so extensive and crossing many cultures. The belly pork bited starter is the best belly pork starter I've had! Main courses are huge but also top notch in quality and presentation. Although this is a restaurant it's also got a hustling bar which gives such a warm feel to the venue. Our visit last night was 10/10 simply couldn't fault it. The crispy chilli beef parmo? Wow! Pizzas just been added makes it even more enticing.

The Beehive – Houghton-le-SpringFirst visit for my Son's birthday. We arrived a little earlier than the booking time, however we were shown straight to our table. The pub was busy, most tables were booked out, which for a Monday night was good to see. A difficult decision to choose from the menu, as there was plenty of choice. Once we ordered we didn't wait too long at all, food was hot, well presented and delicious!! Service 10/10 Value for money 10/10 Food 10/10. We will be back.
The Beehive – Houghton-le-SpringWe have ate here many times and always been really good but had Sunday lunch yesterday and was slightly disappointed with the overall service as 2 of the group had a sharing platter and after asking for certain meats were advised that they would have to choose something different as bone available and also advised to come earlier, however, 4pm was only time available to book. One of the group’s meal didn’t arrive and we had to ask a few times so think this was missed off the order and by the time it arrived the rest of our party were pretty much finished food. I am hoping that it was just a one off as normally really good.
