Booked table a couple of weeks ago as I’m local and know how busy beehive gets. Booked for 6 people at 12.30 - 4 adults and 2 kids, eventually they needed the table back at 2.30. You could stay at the beehive all day it’s a lovely place I always say - traditional pub with restaurant quality food with a side of lovely staff who are always friendly. Never been with the kids before but their plates were huge just a heads up for other parents. Highly recommend.

Polite friendly staff and great atmosphere . Food 5* as always and look forward to coming again soon .

Visited for Sunday lunch for the first time and whilst I really enjoyed my pork belly dinner I was disappointed it didn’t come with any pork crackling as advertised in photos on socials. Everyone on our table felt the music was far too loud. In the time we were there Rod Stewards album went full circle & started again. All of the staff were really friendly, service was quick & dinners were hot.

We booked s table for Sunday lunch. We purchased the Sunday Sharing Platter for £40. The food arrived quickly but the food was not hot at all. We were given a gravy boat but you could tell the good hadnt just been made. We understand they were busy but I would rather have waited for hot food

First time visiting will definitely be back a busy pub but staff instantly made you feel welcome when you walked through the door amazing team and the waitress’s were super friendly and would go above and beyond amazing team of people food was amazing and so fresh great value for money and a lovely atmosphere

Really enjoyed our meal here yesterday. The service was great, super friendly staff and food and drinks brought over in a timely manner despite the place being fully booked and all tables occupied. The food was really delicious and the portion sizes were generous.

First visit after seeing a lot of great reviews. My wife and I had the Roast Beef dinner and our daughters both had bolognese. All our meals were excellent, the roast beef was one of the best Sunday dinners we have had in a very long time. Huge portions, great selection of veg and very good quality. The pub was busy as it was lunch time on a Sunday but all the staff were very friendly and attentive.....We will definitely be returning!

Visited 20.01.26 for a birthday meal for my partner. Lovely friendly staff, great menu. Waited about 30 mins for food after ordering, worth the wait! Food was delicious and prices were very reasonable. Will definitely return.

Rushed beyond belief! We were told about 5 times that the tables were back to back, one of the times was when she said 'are you ready to order?' and we replied with 'not yet' another time being when asking if we would like a dessert. Have some manners, especially when people are spending money therer. We booked our table and don't need to be rush or told this at any point, their booking system should account for this and not book as many tables. Food took over an hour to come out (even though they wanted to rush us and were back to back with tables) and then it was mediocre. I have been going to the Beehive for years now and this time was a huge disappointment. Maybe instead of rushing people and overbooking the pub focus on who is there and the quality of the food.

We booked for 10 people for a birthday celebration, after reading all the good reviews and travelled from Teesside. We got told immediately on arrival that we had to leave by 19:30 however, the last plate of food wasn't served until 18:45. Food was served sporadically and the child's meal was one of the last. Two dishes were sent back due to being cold and other dishes were luke warm but didnt want to complain further. Special burgers (ultimate burger) tasteless and left almost 3/4. Were were told a further two times to leave by 19:30, the last time being 19:15 when still eating our meals. No dessert offered (assume due to them wanting us out). Went to a nearby pub instead as felt celebrations was rushed. Won't be back or recommending unfortunately.
