This is a regular place for me to eat. Mid week and Sunday lunch. I have never been disappointed with either the food or the service. It's a relaxing, comfortable pub whether you're wanting a drink on your own or with friends. Food has always been wonderful with generous portions.

Food was very good we had Sunday lunch . We went for the beef. If I have any thing to complaints the Yorkshire puddings were a little over cooked and were dry. The ice cream with the sticky toffee pudding was to small portion and had to ask for extra to finish pudding. Good value for money!

Came here for the a meal mid week last week and then returned for a Sunday share plate it was amazing!

Party of 4 and all thoroughly enjoyed our meals I had 3 Little Pigs and it was delicious with nice frackling in the pork belly. Presentation of all meals is very good and the staff are really nice. Puddings were great too. Restaurant is very comfy and not too cramped as is the case with some. Will definitely go back. .

I saw the food on Facebook and had to try. Very busy, slight wait, but food was amazing. I never admit defeat on food but had to get a box to take home as portions are huge. Definitely be back.My choice was 'The Geordie Parmo ', and it didn't disappoint.

This was our first visit to the Beehive. My wife and myself called for lunch and had a very enjoyable meal with good wine. The service was excellent and the serving staff were very friendly and well on top of their game. The food was also excellent, delicious and well presented. A good varied menu, we will certainly be calling again.

Got the salt & pepper parmo, was absolutely unreal! Would definitely recommend, need to go back and try everything else!

Another brilliant meal at The Beehive. The parmo special was so big I had to get a ‘doggy box’. Absolutely delicious, as always.

Second visit here this year. The refurb is great. Service was excellent, friendly and not overbearing. 4 of us dined, i had the excellent Whitby scampi, huge portions. Two had the steak and ale pie, again large portions. The lads were a little disappointed that it was actually a pie crust lid not a traditional pie but found it tasty nevertheless. Served with chips and additional vegetables. Hubby enjoyed the sri lankan curried chicken with rice - it was beautifully presented. I had a sneaky taste too and it was lovely. The apple cheesecake was delicious. We'll certainly be back. My only negative was the volume of the piped music in the restaurant, too distracting when you want to chat. We asked for it to be turned down as the speaker was right over our table. It wasn't a problem and the staff obliged. Good pub food with usual classics but also a varied selection of other dishes. The table next to us ordered one of the sharing boards and it looked excellent! One to try next time.
