The food is amazing, staff are fantastic and really knowledgeable about both food and drinks, nothing is too much trouble and value for money is excellent. It’s always busy so worth booking ahead and make sure you’re hungry as the portions are huge.

The Beehive – Houghton-le-SpringOur first visit to The Beehive. Really impressed with the service and food. Staff were faultless, polite, friendly and respectful. Food was absolutely beautiful and hot unlike a lot of places you go to. The restaurant/pub itself is very small. It looked huge to me on the photograph but it was lovely and warm (which is something else you can't always bank on) and there was a nice enough atmosphere. We would definitely recommend and come back.
