We visited again for our 3rd time. We absolutely love this place. The staff are very welcoming and always smiling. The cakes are an added bonus! This visit was for my 12 year olds birthday, he calls this his ‘happy’ place . The cats are little characters and are very lucky to be cared for by such an amazing team of people. We definitely will be back ☺️
Jacksons Rescue Cat Cafe – HoylakeTook my 12 year old son for a visit to the cat cafe. We both absolutely loved it. Staff really friendly and happy to tell you all about the cats. The cats are gorgeous and playful. Had a tea, cold drink and some lemon drizzle cake. For price of cake, could have been a better sized slice. Quite small and thin.

We thought the cake covers were a brilliant idea, so we could move around without worrying any of the little cake monsters would help themselves! Other cat cafes take note! We will definitely be back.

Jacksons Rescue Cat Cafe – HoylakeI booked for my partners 2 girls and myself to go to the cat cafe as a treat for them. I was met with someone who was clearly a recent graduate of the Hitler charm school who barked at me that the kids are not 11. Prior to booking if looked all over their website to find what the age limit was, all it said was “no small children.” In the absence of an actual age limit (it might be there but if it is it’s not obvious) then I figured since we’d been the the cat cafe in Liverpool that should be reason enough to book. Having been met my such an aggressive response to us, we were all stunned. Top tip - maybe take the adult aside and explain why the children can’t go in, when we left the girls were upset as they thought they had done something wrong. The way you explain it is also crucial - the approach was not at all appropriate. A “sorry”and calm explanation would have been better. Really disappointed in this place. They kept my money which they clearly needed as the place was deserted, the amicable answer would have been to repurpose the booking. That aside, the cats missed out as we would have bought drinks etc that all add to the coffers. I think Frau Hitler needs some front of house / customer service training; never forget who your customer is. Off to Liverpool we go next week for take 2.

The cake was delicious and easy to eat as where given cake covers so cats wouldn’t get any. Would highly recommend place was bright and comfortable.

Jacksons Rescue Cat Cafe – HoylakeJackson’s Cat Café is a wonderful addition to the Wirral. The cats are all of a young age and were previously strays/abandoned. They are learning to socialise with each other and with humans and the environment they do this in is just perfect. It is their cafe and we are their visitors! They have so much space to run around in and so many different tunnels and runways to keep them amused. They are all very friendly, and the staff aren’t bad too! The Staff are wonderful actually and happy to talk about their furry companions! Very reasonably priced for a 3 hour visit and great cake!
