Excellent Italian restaurant which is very welcoming. Great food and excellent service on every frequent visit. Seems to be very popular for parties but that does not distract if you are having a meal a deux. Prices range from the very reasonable pizzas up to the pricier specials board. But good value whichever way.
San Luca – HullGood local restaurant that was quite welcoming. Service a bit slow but food well prepared and reasonable value. Would go back if that is a good recommendation
Crofters Restaurant – HullVegetarian only restaurant which serves a different buffet each day. It's a one sitting go of help yourself and good fun if you want to eat copious quantities of something different on a budget. Bring your own wine or very moderately priced house wine. Recommended.
Hitchcocks – HullOld English Gentleman is a beautiful public house in the Hull town centre. Avery old and cultural place, very relaxing inside and the staff are just fantastic. Food is very nice.

Saffron Restaurant – Hullfood great.. service great.. price very good eat as much as you can for 13.50 (very good eaters we are) and this restaurant is the best...cater for large parties very friendly folk..:-)
Aroma – HullThe place has got a cosmopolitan buzz about it and the food very good with a good choice. You may be forgiven for thinking that you weren't in Hull at all - which must be good.
Sleepers Bar – HullGood food, service in a really great setting and the prices are very reasonable all in all a great night out was had by all.

Hase – HullFantastic food, great service and not expensive at all..... We found this little place 3 years ago and now its our favourite restaurant. Its not flash, just good food and service.

Sailmakers Arms, The – HullHaving been to many Thai restaurants both in Hull and the surrounding area, I can honestly say this is the best Thai and certainly a contender for best restaurant in the city. The staff are both efficient and extremely pleasant, the decor makes you feel like you've stepped out of Hull and into Thailand itself! The food is excellent value for money and can cater to both people who love their hot/spicy food and those who can't. I especially loved the red curry, which was just perfect. Just about anything on the menu can be made with various vegetarian options, which delighted my veggie wife. Indeed, I hear the Thai House is very popular amongst vegetarians in Hull. I have been a few times (can't get enough!) and is extremely busy on most nights, especially the weekend, which is always a good sign.
Thai House Restaurant – HullWere to begin? i travelled up to Hull for Easter weekend for a much awaited family get together. On the Sunday we all decided that we would go out and have a lovely roast dinner and had heard about The Hase in Hessle and how good the food and the service was so we thought we would try it out. as soon as we walked in you could feel the friendly, happy atmosphere and was shown to our seats by a very polite waitress who for the rest of our evening was brilliant. The food was amazing and was surprised to receive that quality of food from a pub. I would just like to thank the owners of the Hase (Carole Maughan and Dave Ainsworth) for making the evening so enjoyable and will not hesitate to go again. Thank you.
Hase – HullI've been going to this family owned restaurant for over 30 years. The chef is now in his seventies and absolutely no one in Hull comes close to his skills. No meal is ever a disappointment. I've never seen anyone complain.
