Railway Inn – HullVenn is a fantastic place to eat and we had a great night out. The food is second to none and the service was friendly and warm. Definitely worth a visit. A hidden gem!

Saffron Restaurant – HullAroma have an 'all you can eat' menu for a set price. This is cheaper on weeknights (£13.50 I think), but it's still very reasonable all the time. The menu has a good selection and there'll be something on it for even the fussiest Chinese food eater. Obviously, at these prices you get what you pay for to some extent. The quality of the meat isn't great, with rather salty rubbery chicken and strange-coloured beef. However, the spare ribs are fantastic, but that's probably because they're deep fried (yes, really).

Mustafas Restaurant – HullFairly small and homely with a lovely ambience - the special menus for two (inc. wine) are great value. The staff are welcoming, attentive and friendly.
Ceruttis – Hullbest restaurant around the hull area by far.
Medici Restaurant – HullThis is a fine historic building hidden away in the old town, oak panelled restaurant. Fine beer especially the Old Peculiar which is permanently on draught. superb beer garden. But you will be overawed by the interior of this lovely old "Haunted" pub
Ye Olde White Harte – Hullthe food is always excellent, especially the carvery. recommend the carvery at tea-time when its very cheap! hard to beat it
Lambwath – HullI would definitely recommend sleepers for a either a relaxing drink or for a nice meal as the food is outstanding and the service is brilliant. The food is very cheap compared to many other places.
Sleepers Bar – HullA very pleasant eating experience with polite staff and great food. Also good car parking space at the rear
Aroma – Hullpopped into the place on the off chance. and was well worth it. They offer a great variance of classic pub grub and something more exotic (the beef burrito is lovely). Will definitely go back. highly recommended.
Mainbrace, The – HullUnfortunately, the Blue Bell Inn, Old Ellerby do not serve food - I wish it would, as it is a delightful place, very quaint, with a terrific atmosphere, and the perfect place to go to unwind, with real ales on tap. Their jazz nights every alternate Thursday are great ... just wish you could get something to eat (I would then be in heaven).
Blue Bell Inn – HullHad a party for my mum here, the buffet they provided was excellent. I would definitely recommend this place for functions; we've got another one booked for next month!
