Visited many times for a meal and normally very good food. This visit we ordered the Sunday dinner and it was disappointing. Frozen roast potatoes and mash. Beef was tough and fatty. Gravy was lovely though.

We were a family party. The staff team are really good and attentive and we couldn't have had better attention. The food looked splendiferous! However, my partners beef was under done and very chewy and my lamb could have been anything. We were offered desserts in recompense, but by that time, we were not interested. But I would recommend this place. Everything else was amazing.

Went here as a party of 9 for my sons 18th birthday. Brilliant food and outstanding service. Definitely be back.

Excellent atmosphere and amazing food as always!

I don't usually write reviews but this was one of the best roast dinners we've had out. Food was delicious!

We visited the Rising moon yesterday the 8/6/2025 the food was ok.ish but the seating in the main room was filthy, it looked like it belonged in a Garage somewhere ! Robinson s seriously need to clean this area where food is served ! It's letting the pub down ! After all you wouldn't want to go to a scruffy pub to eat ! Sorry I won't be back here anytime soon ! It's a pity because it's been better than this !

As always .... we all enjoyed our meal ... only disappointment Adelle wasnt there as my granddaughter was looking forward to meeting another unicorn fan

4 adults and 2 children we got the table early food and drinks were served promptly and politely - we all enjoyed our food and we were not rushed to leave the table - great experience.

We absolutely love The Rising Moon! Whether I'm visiting with my husband or a group of friends, it's always a fantastic experience. The staff are consistently friendly, helpful, and provide amazing service. The food is always top quality, and the menu offers a fantastic range of choices to suit everyone. Highly recommended!

Friendly staff both meals very good

It's been a while since I had a meal at the Rising Moon..we were greeted by friendly staff..we had a drink in a lovely outside space...near by play area..we were shown to our table by a knowledgeable young lady...it was a Friday teatime and busy..the service was very good...the food was of the highest quality. I will book here again...VERY IMPRESSIVE

We had lunch here with friends. The restaurant is attractive and the food was excellent. We have booked it for a Golden Wedding lunch in July. It was about £60 for two of for starters, main course and coffee, which is too expensive for us to eat there regularly, but for a special meal it is very good.

Visited The Rising Moon with my friends for the first time yesterday for a Sunday roast. Had an amazing service from all the team from the start to end of our time at the restaurant. Food was good quality nice and hot when served and a good price too Look forward to visit again soon and would highly recommend.

Stopped coming here because the food wasn't as good and the service wasn't up to much thought we would give it another chance that was a mistake food still the same they have changed the menu and it's very bland my daughters buttermilk burger was burnt but she wouldn't let me complain. We didn't get any cutlery with our starters so had to get our own then the same thing happened with the main course. Ordered drinks twice they didn't come had to go to the bar twice to ask where they were. We didn't stay for dessert won't be returning.

We had lunch at the Rising moon on Wednesday. As usual, great service and food in a lovely setting, we have meals here regularly and have never been disappointed, my wife has a few food intolerances, the staff could not have been more helpful in making sure everything was ok for her to eat.

The service was extremely slow and the waitress forgot to bring the drinks. The food was very disappointing and not value for money. My wife could not even cut through the cheese and onion pie. Will not be recommending nor returning.

We had a party of 31 celebrating an 80th birthday, food was great, service was excellent and everyone enjoyed it. Thank you.
