I hate to be that person that complains but this place really let themselves down on the bank holiday Monday. We've been before and it's been lovely with great food, but we had to wait too long for the main when we had a 9 month old as part of the party that after 2 hours was understandably restless and hungry. When we did then finally get our main meal, one meal got sent back as it was overcooked and numerous others only half ate theirs as it wasn't great. The day after, at least 4 felt sick and at worst had mild food poisoning. They did give us the meal we sent back free, but unfortunately we can't risk visiting here again if it means people are at risk of falling ill depending on whether the staff have shown up.

Had a lovely evening last night. Good food, good service. However, there were a few flies hovering about.

There was 9 of us . We had a lovely table with lots of room. It was nice and cool . The food was amazing. All came out together. Was hot and nicely presented. The staff are really friendly and nice .

Met up with friends. Have not been to the rising moon for a couple of years. Lovely food and atmosphere.

The food was fantastic and the atmosphere spot on… but it was the staff who truly made the experience. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, with such friendly, positive energy that it was impossible not to feel uplifted. They even offered us a lift to a nearby pub still open after their shift finished! How often do you see that? And a special shoutout to the bar manager, who makes an outstanding cocktail. We had a brilliant night and will definitely be back soon!

Food was lovely, all areas were kept very clean. Outside got busy so they opened the outside bar for a while which i thought was a great idea

Had a lovely meal out with my wife and child. Service was brilliant and very welcoming.

Visited on Sunday for lunch. 3 of us had the Sunday roast and my wife had sea bass. All the meals were served very quickly from ordering and was of a high quality. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We have been to the Rising Moon a few times now and never found anything other then friendly staff and deliciously well presented food.

Fantastic warm welcoming down to earth staff that couldn't of give a better welcoming. After being served with drinks and showed to our table things continued to run smooth. Great tasting food,fabulous cocktails and lovely attentive staff. We couldn't of asked for a more experience.

My friend and I went to the Ruding Moon yesterday for lunch, I had gammon and pineapple and she had braising steak and onions, mash and veg. Our meals were really great, hot and plentiful and quickly served. We really recommend going there and we shall be visiting again.

Been a couple of times with our relatives & they insisted on visiting RM again , Food was excellent hot & tasty the fish was pure white & excellent value that goes for all 4 of us , Yes we & also relatives will no doubt come again when they are next over here, Although we will come back with our 2 tiny Chihuahuas who love all fuss & attention they get watching the little kids running about enjoying themselves in the beer garden,

I took my partner for an anniversary lunch. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was fresh and the pub is kept very clean. My only criticism was how expensive the drinks were. I am not to fussed as it was a one off treat

My first time visiting and I can say that the meal was lovely. And the staff also if I had relised how big the positions was I wouldn’t have had a starter lol decently Will call agin

Lovely afternoon! Waitress was polite and timely. Food was hot and tasty. Good selection of gins too!! Would definitely recommend for a hearty lunch with friends. Well done.
