Always made to feel very welcome. Lovely friendly staff, great food and service. Great relaxed atmosphere. The added bonus is it is dog friendly.

Fantastic food and service

My wife and I had lunch last Sunday and from the minute we arrived were made to feel welcome by the friendly, attentive staff. Our original table wasn't suitable for my wife but without any fuss, the brilliant staff sorted another for us. The place was very busy with a great atmosphere.Our food arrived and not only looked good but tasted amazing. All in all a fantastic, great value, dining experience.We will definitely be returning. Well done and thanks to all the staff.

Efficient service and food.Lovely atmosphere. Been coming here for quite a few years now. My mum had her 81st birthday here with all the family.

Group of 6 diners plus baby. Table was ready on our arrival with ample room even for the baby and pram. Drinks orders taken initially and meal order once we were ready. Slight wait for food to be delivered but nothing that wasn’t acceptable. All diners stated they enjoyed the food. Restaurant was spotlessly clean, service very good, food was excellent & the bill was spot on.

We had a lovely lunch at the Rising Moon. Rag pudding with chips and mushy peas. Delicious. Efficient service and lovely staff.

Another' lovely family meal freshly cooked

Recently had a celebration there for a special occasion for 22 persons. The food was great and good portions. The service from the staff was excellent. Shout out to Matt who dealt with the booking and Adam who served on the tables. Both of them were friendly and were responsive to any request. Thanks again.

Had a lovely meal on Friday night. Staff were very efficient and very friendly and despite the fact it was extremely busy, we didnt have to wait too long for food. Menu has a very good choice of dishes and not too expensive. Would definitely recommend.

Had a lovely lunch, varied menu with plenty of choices, l highly recommend the cheese and onion pie. The service was brilliant and we were well looked after. Great atmosphere

Had a great meal out with friends. The food was lovely, atmosphere was nice and the service was excellent with all the staff really attentive and friendly. Would definitely recommend and will go back.

The steak pies were excellent however the lamb for the Sunday roast was fatty and usually the meals are piping hot however not on this occasion. Similarly for the beef was fatty the other week.

The food was excellent the atmosphere was welcoming and the staff were friendly and served us brilliantly. They were very busy but attended us very well. Would highly recommend this restaurant l. We have been many times and never disappointed.

Lovely meal , lovely pub , lovely staff and service , I recommend the salt an peppa ribs and the lamb Sunday dinner , they were especially good !
