Absolutely love the Rising Moon, the food is amazing and staff are so friendly and welcoming. The pub has a great ambiance about it and is fast becoming my favourite place to eat and drink. we have been on several occasions and we have always been very happy but you say you cater for allergies I asked for soya milk for my partners coffer you did not have it

We had a beautiful meal at the rising moon, we came with friends and children, staff were friendly and apologetic over the food wait (although we didn’t even notice as we were busy chatting and didn’t ask it was nice of them to keep us updated) The roast dinner was one of the best I’ve had…along with a delicious sticky toffee pud! The meals are really big and filling and the menu is brilliant it’s difficult to choose everything sounds so good Looking forward to our next meal!

Went with my husband and elderly Dad for lunch. Food was absolutely delicious and they serve very large portions. We had three different dishes and they were all well cooked and seemed home made. The portions wouldn’t suffer from being made smaller, especially the pies. The staff are always friendly in there but the two staff on yesterday were very good and especially chatty with my Dad, which he really liked. Thank you for a lovely lunch.

My husband and I came for the first time to the rising moon to celebrate our 49th wedding anniversary and husbands birthday we was not disappointed the food was fabulous and plenty of it I had the garlic mushrooms which was very filling and the sweet chilli chicken stir fry and a side of chunky chips I couldn't finish it My husband had the soup and the hunters chicken it was lovely The staff were very helpful and lovely The rooms are great we will definitely be back definitely worth 5 stars

me and my partner came for our weekly meal at rising moon and food is amazing as always, we tried a different meal then our normal orders and it was fantastic, our waiter was amazing and is always lovely to talk to, working hard even with a broken arm. made our cocktails and i did feel bad because he was the designated drink maker and had to shake them. the atmosphere was lovely and calm, we came just before close so there wasn't many people there. 10/10 experience will be coming back next week.

We enjoyed a delicious meal at the Rising Moon on Sunday, nicely finished off with Baileys Cheesecake and served up by the friendliest staff. The portion sizes were generous and the prices were very reasonable. Also, it’s a dog friendly pub, which meant we didn’t have to drop the dog off at home before eating. Would highly recommend it.

Family meal. Great food and friendly staff and a really comfortable atmosphere. The prices were pretty cheap compared to other places and there's a children's play area and plenty of parking.

Our meals were absolutely delicious. The service is excellent great atmosphere.

First visit. Food exceptional. Quantity and quality way above average. Service a little slow but large birthday party possibly contributed to this. Had the braised steak and it was very tasty. Will certainly return.

Lovely place, lovely staff, great food!

I am a frequent patron of The Rising Moon and keep returning because both the food and the service are always of a consistently high standard. I would, and often do, recommend a visit to this lovely pub/restaurant without hesitation.

Went for lunch with my wife and my female cousin. We were all impressed with the menu choices and not disappointed with the food itself. In reality the whole mealtime was pleasant, from the greeting on arrival until our departure.’

We made a last-minute booking for tea on Tuesday for 4 of us, I had to delay the booking and this was not a problem. My husband and I had cheese and onion pie with chips, I had peas and my husband had beans, my daughter had the curry and rice with half rice had chips and her partner had the lasagne swapping the garlic bread for chips for just an extra 50p. All the food was very tasty, well cooked and reasonably priced.
