The food was delicious. We all had different-lasagne , pork loin and hunters's chicken. The service was good. The only issue was it wasn't made clear on booking that we would only be allowed two hours at the table. The member of staff who asked us to vacate the table was very polite but as it was busy there was nowhere to sit and chat which we would have liked to do. We booked for 5 . If we had known we would have booked for 6 as the kitchen closes at 8 so I assume we could have kept our table. The two hour slot needs to be explained more clearly.

Lovely food with a good menu choice. Nice environment and location. Staff friendly with prompt service

The kitchen was very busy which of course cannot be helped however even if you had booked a table there was the same wait for food as people who had not booked. A lovely girl who works at your pub called Georgia was incredibly helpful and was really lovely. Her service was amazing The food was very good and other than the wait there was no faults

Visited on a very busy bank holiday Monday despite this service was good and food was tasty as always. Thanks to Adele and her team for a great time. Always one of our favourites to visit locally and would highly recommend

2nd Visit for Breakfast, fantastic experience the Server was a great customer experience. Food was exceptional very friendly staff. New favourite place to eat

2 adults 2 children, arrived 15 mins early for a 5:30pm booking but table was ready for us. Food was good, but we had to wait 40 minutes for our food (which we didn't mind as we could see it was busy), then had to wait 30 minutes for our desserts to arrive. This wouldn't normally bother us, but just as our desserts arrived we were asked to hurry up as the next customers were waiting for the table. This was hardly our fault as we were made to wait for our food orders. I feel the correct approach should have been to tell the people waiting that there was a delay on their table due to the kitchen being backed up, not rushing the people still eating.

Nice meal and surroundings Would definitely go again

Came for a meal for my Mums birthday. The food was lovely & so much choice, we couldn't move after! Our waiter (didn't catch his name) was brilliant, so lovely & always checking if we was okay. Would definitely come back & it looks beautiful now it's been done up!

Loved the atmosphere great place food and drink. Food was exceptional. The only grip I had was not being able to tip via the card reader. I had no cash so couldn’t tip the server.

Had an excellent evening meal, great place with a lovely friendly atmosphere. Think we might give the breakfast a try soon :)

Breakfast again .food ,service, every thing superb again

Meal was very good and good quality. Good size meals. Could do with a few extra staff which would mean that there wasnt such a long wait for food.

We came yesterday food was really nice but we paid a deposit and it didn’t get knocked off the bill realised on the way home tried to ring and couldn’t get an answer

Our family of 5 adults came for a meal yesterday, Thursday 18th May. We each ordered 2 courses and the first course took about 45 minutes to arrive. The prawn cocktail was very short on prawns and the duck spring rolls was also very sparse - just 4 small rolls with a very small amount of sauce. As the starters cost approx £7 - £8 each, I considered this to be very expensive. The main courses were more acceptable and the food was tasty. If I was to visit again, I would definitely miss the starters and just have a main course. There was quite a wait for the main courses also, that is why I’ve given a low score on service.

First time visit on Tuesday but without a doubt will not be the last. Food really good but the friendly staff make it. Make sure you are really hungry!! Portion sizes are very very generous

Very nice meal . Very tasty and hot. Lovely surroundings and pleasant staff. Would highly recommend and definitely be back
