Excellent all round.

Staff were great . Good atmosphere for families and couples alike. The food was tasty with generous portions. Overall good value for money. Will be returning.

First time at the Rising Moon since the change in management and was happy to see no difference than on previous visits. Good quick service to be seated and plenty of staff taking orders and drinks. The food was excellent and great value for money with plenty of choice. We will no doubt be back again.

My group which met on 4th May 2022 had a very enjoyable meal but it was spoilt by the other dinners talking very loudly with no regard for other customers. We were very disturbed by the amount of noise so as I was leaving I mentioned it to one of your staff who happened to say t this could happen. I don’t know how you can resolve this dilemma.

Beautiful place great food. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. The sticky pork is amazing I’ve had it a few times now. My sister took me for a birthday treat she also loved it. Definitely good portion sizes and value for money.

Lovely Sunday afternoon, mixture of diners, some had the Sunday lunch, some had from the main menu. Food was delicious, service excellent, so good to see somewhere that has enough staff to cope with the number of customers. Highly recommended

Ordered rag budding dish, not adequate size. Three pieces of steak inside and 10 chips not enough. Lasagne dish was lovely Burger dish, 10 chips not enough again and not hot enough. Burger tasted delicious though. Drinks- 90 pence for a shot a lime in my lager which I couldn’t even taste, next time I will take my own. Salt and pepper pots had to be changed twice and sauce sachets not restocked. Starters were nice, carrot and ginger soup, pate and spring rolls. Daughters main meal was given to someone else who put salt on the food, was then told that if we didn’t have that one we’d have to wait 30 minutes Service not fantastic due to that issue. Would I go again- probably not.

This is our second visit to the Rising was Moon at lunchtime. Although quite busy when we arrived, we were seated quickly and left to decide from the extensive and varied menu. We ordered drinks and fish and chips, which were quickly delivered. The drinks were cold and the food piping hot. Really tasty fish and rather large, but beautifully cooked. All staff were helpful, friendly and professional. A really enjoyable lunch. Will be visiting again soon. Thank you for such an enjoyable experience.

the meal was realy good as was the staff the young girl that served was polite and looked aftermy wife and i wecame in to look at the venu to book for silver wedding in july 20 peaple willbook closer to time thank you

Arrived behind other guests who were shown to their table, the waitress then ignored us for a further 5 mins whilst she went and chatted to a friend. Directed to our table rather than shown and had to wait nearly 10 mins to order drinks. 1 of our party ordered Sunday ouch of roast beef and it came with a massive amount of stuffing??? Very weird! Overall the attentiveness of the staff was quite poor!

Excellent service and good quality food. Birthday celebration was great.

We went for a midweek lunch and the staff were very friendly and efficient. The meal was beautiful. I had the steak pie and my wife had the cheese and onion pie. The only very slight criticism is that the wine was very expensive at over £9 for a large South African Sauvignon blanc. Will definitely be back again. Thank you.

Staff were helpful and accommodating. Food taste better. This will now be my favourite pub of choice.

Service was great, food was lovely. Great atmosphere very relaxing would highly recommend, we all had different dishes and everyone was lovely, will definitely be returning.

A beautiful country pub that serves amazing food, lovely drinks and always welcoming. I will be back soon. Halloumi fries and the cheese & onion pie is a must.
