Love this pub. The food was great the staff were lovely but perhaps could be a little more a tentative, coming to the table asking if we needed more drinks etc. but will definitely be back.

Had a beautiful meal, nothing was too much trouble, will definitely eat here again and recommend.

Spent a very pleasant couple of hours at The Rising Moon on Sunday. We had gammon and chilli chicken noodles...... a lovely bottle of wine and then couldn't resist the apple and cinnamon crumble............could not fault the food, the service, the atmosphere...........Will definitely visit again and would recommend to anyone to try.......thank you to all at The Rising Moon.

I've been coming here for years, Food the cheese n onion pie I had wasn't great, pastry was burnt n hard and the cheese was peppery. I did complain (didn't get a discount) but dud have speak to someone who apologies Everybody else loved there's. TBH I don't normally have a big issue with the food will stick with my braised steak next time. Service is getting better now they've more staff.

Superb. My only dilemma have cheese and onion pie or liver and onions !!! Next time I’m having the liver

Always eat here with my family when in the area visiting family and friends. Comfortable setting and great beer garden for those warm summer days / evenings. Staff always friendly and helpful. May have a bit of a wait when it gets busy, but otherwise top notch!

Had a great time at The Rising Moon last night! Went in for some tea and ended up staying till closing. Food was great, so was the atmosphere and the staff, particularly Matt and Adele.

My wife and enjoyed a very pleasant anniversary lunch. Good beer, good food and very good service.

I came here for lunch with a friend after hearing positive reviews. We had a lovely meal. I am coeliac and the menu was labelled clearly with gf options which was great to see. We shared starters of garlic mushrooms, king prawns and chorizo alongside the halloumi salad and sweet potato fries. There was a lot of food. Everything was a good portion size. All dishes were lovely. Service was excellent. We then went and had a few drinks in the beer garden which had great views. There is a hut to buy food from there too. We will definitely be back.

Never had an issue until now. Service was very slow and the food was not up to the usual standard. The bar girl was quite rude. Overall not the best experience we have had. The fish was way over cooked and the chips were still hard.
