Food was amazing, great staff and lovely atmosphere 10 out of 10 :-)

With this being a local family run restaurant we find it is excellent quality but expensive prices but worth a treat every now and then, we recently went to a themed night which was a Greek night, food was amazing and plentiful, it really is a good place to visit

Amazing food every time, sticky toffee pudding to die for. with excellent service. Highlighly recommended for a chilled out evening meal or a lunchtime family get together.

I went to the hare and hounds pub last night (bonfire night). And after queing up for 20 minutes we ordered 2 hot chocolates and were told we could not be served without ID. I am totally appauled by this as i am a regular customer there. In addition to this, the bar staff had watched us queue up the whole time and did not tell us we could not be served before hand.

the waitress was very welcoming and friendly showing us to our table and ensuring we were comfortable. The food was excellent and presented on the plate in a very professional way and was cooked within an acceptable waiting time. The atmosphere was romantic and the décor easy on the eye. This was my second visit to this restaurant it wont be my last and will not hesitate to recommend this place to all my friends.

Excellent food and service. Good selection of freshly prepared dishes. The selection of vegetables that accompanied the main course dishes were lovely (particularly liked the mini-potatoes and peas with pancetta) The set menu offers great value and there are some very tempting desserts.

Great place - friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. Terrific food at every stage and not expensive. Good wine list. Would definitely go again; in fact......booking for Christmas!

outstanding place, me and my wife go there quite often the taste is amazing and the staff are very friendly they even remember your names after a few visits can't complain one bit try the stake or the chicken liver mmmm, we have been to many quality restaurants all over the UK and the world this comes very close to the top, even though the area isn't the best this restaurant makes up for it.

Held my 40th birthday at the Stables for 33 people and the food was amazing every course was quality and presented beautiful and the service was exceptional.I have visited a few times and each time it gets better and better with now a new menu. Tim and Joanne are lovely people and really make you feel welcome and this is the reason they have repeat customers. This is a real hidden gem and if not tried you don't know what you are missing please try for yourself you will not be disappointed I promise.

visited the stables for the first time yesterday, food delicious, service quick and friendly,highly recommended.

This place is a hidden gem. I have dined here a few times, and each time the food has been spot on. My girlfriends and I had Sunday lunch today. All ingredients were fresh, home cooked and delicious. A cut above many places where we have dined, and definitely the best in the local area. The service was great and with the air con now in place we had a superb time. Will be back again soon.

We recently held a party for forty people at the Stable Restaurant Hyde The canapes were amazing.The hot buffet delicious and the miniature desserts to die for.Everyone commented on the excellent quality of the food and service,Many said they would return People were coming and going all afternoon and as soon as they arrived hot fresh canapes appeared.The attention to detail was fantastic .This is certainly a place to hold a special event

We have visited the Sables Restaurant many time over the past two years.The food is fresh and well presented.The home-made soups and desserts are fantastic (with none of your bulk bought frozen food at this establishment) Tim the proprietor and chef takes pride in his work providing a good variety of food at both lunches and evening meals A great little restaurant at very reasonable prices

We absolutely love this restaurant and its our favourite local place to eat. Perfect for lunch, mid week, or a special Saturday night for couples, friend or groups. We've eaten here many times and will return again and again. The food is consistently fantastic and never disappointing and the menu has plenty of choice. The home-made soups are amazing and the deserts are devine! The service is friendly and efficient and the Stables is cosy and welcoming. The Stables is a credit to the owner, Tim, and we'd recommend it to anyone who appreciates good food.

This is well worth a visit! Food is fresh,well prepared & exquisitely presented by the chef/owner who takes pride in his food. We had a staff meal there & he catered for 33 people, all were extremely happy with their meal & it was the first time I have had excellent hot food in such a big party! The starters ,mains & sweets were all home made & delicious!!! Well done the Stables!!! Many of the party have said they will revisit so there's a recommendation in itself!! I will certainly go back!

What a lovely addition to Hyde. Authentic Cuban Tapas at reasonable prices. Fabulous meat, fish and vegetarian options... Try the Quorn meatballs for a vegetarian change - just as good as their meat counterpart! All fresh and served with a smile! We're regulars!
