Lovely breakfast, and varied menu choices for veggies and vegans. Homemade beans and falafel were delicious. Our dog enjoyed the extra sausage. Friendly staff. My only critique is that our bench was hard, no seat padding and for those who are noise sensitive, the lack of soft furnishings in the industrial decor means that noise is amplified. We found it very loud.

Went for opening on Saturday food was all Gresham hot .went to the counter ordered scallops .squid. Prawns and land chips cooked iin garlic .also had my apple crumble and cursed for afters was lovely as well . All food 5 stars today

A really lovely comfortable cafe. Menu is varied. Food is always served hot & is fresh & delicious. Coffee is top dollar! Always a treat to visit this cafe, we appreciate your attention to detail & teamwork. Thank you !

Excellent as usual! We try and visit every two weeks or so and have never had to criticise anything. The lovely food and friendly staff make it a very enjoyable experience. We'll be back!

Simple fantastic food and service Lovely local café with a rustic classic French feel about it, the service is always spot on with a relaxed feel, I wish they had more vegetarian options, but what they had was great, I think it would make a great intimate win bar in the evening with maybe cool jazz playing in the background. I will be back.

Enjoyed a lovely birthday breakfast at Heathfields, good food, good service and lovely location

There were plenty of varieties to choose from on Sunday 19/4/26, which was a positive. However, the overall experience was let down by the service. The staff made us feel uneasy and rushed , they were already taking plates away while we were still finishing, even hovering as we tried to eat the last bites. Given how much we paid for a family meal, we expected to be able to enjoy our food in a relaxed atmosphere, not feel pressured to hurry. That said, my children did mention that the food itself was reasonably well-seasoned this time, which was an improvement.

This is so bad. They could have killed someone! I recently went to Spoons world buffet for the first time with my family and I was very disappointed. The food was cold and didn’t taste very nice. Mum had some meat and it was really chewy. Some of the food didn’t have labels so we didn’t know what it was. The “coke” was the cheap, crappy stuff that tasted so bad we couldn’t finish our drinks. The desserts were ridiculously tiny. My chair was all sticky. I had to clean it with wet wipes before I could sit down. The tables were really sticky too. Also I think it’s really bad that they chuck you out after an hour and a half even if the restaurants half empty and there’s no one waiting for your seat. I definitely won’t be going there again.

Very pleased with the service we recieved for my nans 90th birthday the meal was lovely and the staff are very friendly and go out there way to please all there customers

The roast beef was superb The cauliflower was to die for And the veggie option was lovely The Taywell farm chocolate ice cream, well!

We went on Sunday to treat our children. The whole place just stunk of fish which is not good for someone who hates fish. The meal Itself was okay but my daughter went to get herself some pudding and dropped something on the floor. She was then shouted at and told off by a member of staff. She came back to our table absolutely sobbing. I tried to talk to the manager but they were unavailable. The person I did talk to was smiling and smirking to me while I was trying to complain about the way my daughter has been treated. I will not go again.

Lovely evening for a birthday celebration. Food and service were 100%. Staff helpful and pleasant, definitely be back again!

We tried the Plough for the first time, for Sunday roast, and had a fantastic meal in the beautiful bar room, where the low ceiling beams are hung with garlands of fragrant dried hop blooms. We found a table beside the cosy fireplace and the service was friendly and quick. When our meals arrived they looked absolutely mouth-watering. Tucking in, we were not disappointed! Generous portions of meat, perfect Yorkshires, and really crispy crackling with the pork. There were 5 or 6 different vegetables with both meals, including roast beetroots - a nice touch - and oodles of gravy. I’m ashamed to say after tackling this feast, we were so enthused by their cooking, we also had desserts… The white chocolate cheesecake is definitely recommended, and the affogato comes with a slice of home made brownie which would pass as a stand alone dessert in many a hostelry. Definitely recommended. They have a large carpark and also do some special deals during the week, we noticed.

As always, a lovely meal at the Plough! Sunday lunch menu is comprehensive with plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. The roasts are fabulous. A really enjoyable meal.

Visited for my birthday with three other people. Not a great experience. Staff not overly friendly or helpful. Although table was booked we had to wait. Sat at a table which we shared with a mop and bucket and next to a table used to keep staff belonging. Food was of a ok quality and rather tasteless, we were rushed and reminded at the hour point and o0 minute point that our time was over and to finish up.
