Ravey_davey

Thoroughly recommended, seasonal and locally sourced ingredients cooked and presented in an imaginative way. Excellent attention to detail and a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Well worth a visit!

Topes Restaurant – Rochester
Pob

brilliant, excellent service and exceptional food, highly recommended.

The Wheel Inn – Ashford
E P Cure

Fiona, the landlady, and her ladies are producing good food in a friendly place supported by Westerham Brewery beer - what more could one want?

The Royal Oak – Edenbridge
Leigh

Highly recommended both for the wonderful views and the good food. A nice simple menu and friendly atmosphere.

The Devils Kneading Trough Restaurant – Ashford
Victor Philpott

Having visited this Inn with my wife at lunchtime today bought some drinks and sat at table 17 looked through the menu and wished to eat and was told that food could only be served in the restaurant but this was full so we requested to eat in the general area were table 17 is but again told no because it is not in the restaurant during this period a couple were eating on the table next to us which is not in the restaurant. We feel that there must be some rules for some and not others or does it depend which member of staff you speak too. This resulted in us leaving and feeling very unhappy in the way we have been treated and I believe there could have been a more suitable way of treating customers. What are your thoughts.

Newnham Court Inn – Maidstone
Grant Souness

This is a high class cafe/coffee bar with brand new decor and friendly staff. The food is amazing and the menu is never ending. However they are extremely good value for money and a family of 4 can eat and drink and get full for under £25 no problems....

Swan Cafe – Faversham
Bealie

This is a retro feel restaurant, sadly not because they mean it to be but because it is stuck in a sad time warp. The food was so unpalatable it is hard to forget. We were very disappointed as the town needs a good !! Genuine Italian restaurant.

Fusion Spice Lounge – Whitstable
Jansy

they make the most amazing beef and ale pie you have ever tasted! tender beef - and plenty of it (not thinned out with mushrooms or kidney etc), tasty rich sauce, crisp mouth-watering thin pastry!

The Acorn – Birchington
Mrmeh

Should be renamed BAD FOOD! That's what you get there, slimy rubber chicken and gloopy tasteless sauces, give this place a miss at all costs, to make it worse the staff are very unhelpful and miserable to say the least, avoid this 'restaurant' at all costs!!!!!

Ba Fu Chinese Restaurant – Ramsgate
Leigh

Highly recommend this to anyone, fantastic food, great service and reasonable price, probably one of the best curry houses I have eaten in.

Badsha Indian Cuisine – Tenterden
Leigh

I do NOT recommend this place at all unless all you want is basmati rice! Their curry dishes are vile, they add chili powder to your dish and you will be happily eating away then you hit dry chili powder and burn your mouth badly. Some dishes are too sugary. Try another curry house instead.

Joshan of Wye – Ashford
Mark Collins

I visited this cafe with my family the other day, and found the decor and general ambiance pleasing. The menu is huge, with a large choice of all day breakfasts, burgers, grills, and some more traditional meals. Food was very good, staff prompt and very reasonably priced, (e.g Cappuccino £1.20) and generous portions, definitely go again :).

Swan Cafe – Faversham
Sarah Mckensy

The most appauling food i have ever eaten, was manager kept bother all the time, he seemed to be really proud of food, looked quite inexperienced to me. Frank Opinion do not go to this place, waste of money

Vari Bar and Restaurant – Sittingbourne
Bert

To my mind, the best Indian in Faversham if not the whole of Kent. How many other curry houses offer their own cookery courses? £35 for an hour's course and that includes a meal for 2. Bargain. The menu includes a number of authentic Bangladeshi fish recipes such as the Bowal in its Fish Bhuna, Chital Kofta minced fish balls, Roopchanda Ocean and has a number of scallop, squid, trout and salmon options plus its signature dish, the Prince of India Sea Food Safari ?? an infusion of scallops, squid, king prawn marinated and cooked in Bhuna spices. experience of running successful Indian restaurants. The restaurant has Monday and Thursday night banquets for £9.95 They deliver to Faversham, Boughton, Painter Forstal, Selling, Oare, Dunkirk and Luddenham and chuck in loads of free goodies, especially on larger orders.

Prince of India – Faversham

The town's best fish restaurant by some distance. The original fishmongers continued to prosper as does the chippy. The first floor gourmet establishment has a Michelin-trained chef producing an interesting menu that rivals anything in the county,

Eddie Gilberts – Ramsgate
Gavin

Friendly family pub with a top rate conservatory restaurant. Large well-maintained garden with a kids' climbing frame in the far corner and a petanq pit. A decent pint of Shepherd Neame's Spitfire, too

The Harrow – Tonbridge
Rangerover

Excellent traditional British pub. The lunchtime menu (all £5) is absolutely wonderful and wholly recommended

Crown and Anchor – Faversham
Brian & Jude

We have started to eat regularly at the Hop Pole Inn, the food is all fresh cooked a carvery is available every day and the the owner hospitality is first class, we took the family for Christmas day lunch and every one said it was excellent including the children (always difficult to please).
