Popped in for Sunday lunch at about 12.15pm. Pub filled up very quickly. Service was quick. Food was good. Lots people eating Goulash - I wished I had tried that!

Dog and Gun – KeswickWe have dined here for the last 6 years. The food is excellent, reasonably priced and superb service ensures the food is still red hot when it gets to you.Judging by the outside of the property you would not believe what an excellent meal you can have.Just go in ,dine and you will find out what we mean.
Golden Hills – KeswickDon't waste your money! Rude, impolite waitress ruined our meal and our last night. We didn't even have chance to read the menu before it was snatched off us. The food was slammed down on the table and was nothing more than average, the restaurant was too hot with too many people crammed in. We didn't leave a tip, we couldn't get out of there fast enough! We won't be returning or recommending to friends! Could this be because we dress differently? Talk about narrow minded!!!
Casa Bella – KeswickExcellent Thai food - we have eaten here many times since it opened. Mixed starter is great, the gai rad prik is an excellent main as is the golden curry. Nice ambience, good service.
Star Of Siam – KeswickMy fiance and I ate at Morrels on a wet Tuesday in March. There weren't many dinners (maybe 10 plus ourselves) but this is hardly surprising for a Tuesday in low season! The menu had many good choices and the food was superb! I had a wonderful Potato, Leek and Cheese crumble to start followed by a ribeye steak which was tender, juicy and cooked as requested - and served with a steak and ale pudding! I can't recall what my partner had to start but I know she said it was delicious, as was the fresh mackerel she had for her main course. I can recommend the Cinamon and Apple cheescake - a good portion of an excellent dessert! Our only negative comment would be the tardyness of the service. It took quite some time for each course to be cleared - this can be forgiven if the staff are busy but when they are chatting at the bar?!! Having said that, it isn't worth giving the place a miss for - you'd be doing yourself a mis-service!
Morrels Restaurant – KeswickThis is one of the nicer eating areas in Keswick. Good Quality Italian food and wine, along with reasonable pricing and a nice friendly atmosphere. You cannot go wrong for the prices! It's always busy when we eat here, which must be a good sign..
Casa Bella – KeswickLunch on Sunday - nice sandwich and side orders -after walking from Keswick along the railway line.
Salutation Inn – KeswickLamb Shank - wonderful - even welcomed the dog in the bar area that is stone flagged. After a dip this place is back as one to visit as the welcome & grub - SUPERB - washed down with a Cumberland pint. Visit 23 Feb 2009.
George Hotel – KeswickHaving eaten her in 2008 feel should say that this is a great friendly place - we ate here twice as some others have gone a little downhill. Our little girl was well catered for and the Lamb wonderful - We will be back at Easter 09 for more of the same please.
Siennas Bar and Steakhouse Grill – KeswickNipped in for a coffee and listened to some good music downstairs in the bar whilst doing some work on their free wi-fi connection. Top place!
Siennas Bar and Steakhouse Grill – Keswickworst meal in a long time...the starters were ok..but our order wasn't written down so inevitably my husband got the wrong meal ..my meal of tuscan mixed beans in a rich tomato sauce was tasteless and should have been called tuscan slop!..both were sent back and we didn't bother ordering anything else as it was at this point i noticed how dirty the surroundings were...thick with dust everywhere..god knows what the kitchen was like...unfortunately it ruined our celebrations for our 1st wedding anniversary..
Casa Bella – KeswickThe best chinese restaurant ever. We always book a table when we go to Keswick. It's always best to book as it is very popular. Good menu, good service good food, good position, in centre of Keswick.
Silk Road Chinese Restaurant – KeswickPossibly the worst Italian restaurant in the UK. Very bland food, poorly cooked, unfriendly staff and the most unprofessional manager to ever run a restaurant.
Luca’s Ristorante – Keswickstunningly good food menu is uninspiring however the goulash remains the only reason i visit keswick(and the beer is top notch)
Dog and Gun – Keswickgreat place
Sweeneys Bar Restaurant – KeswickEat here by default. A very understated restaurant. Very friendly service. Food very good. excellent value for money. really worth a trip
Casa Bella – KeswickHard to find and does not look open. Outside does not reflect true value of Restaurant. Having eat all over China and Hong Kong I can say this is one of the best. Terrific value. The sizzling "Fillet" steak really was "FILLET". Really worth a trip but you may have difficulty getting a table.
Silk Road Chinese Restaurant – KeswickA likeable place with a light, airy interior and good Thai food. The menu includes authentic sticky rice served in baskets.
