Hard to find and does not look open. Outside does not reflect true value of Restaurant. Having eat all over China and Hong Kong I can say this is one of the best. Terrific value. The sizzling "Fillet" steak really was "FILLET". Really worth a trip but you may have difficulty getting a table.

Very good food and quick service. The decor is a bit depressing, though. Best if you want to eat quickly rather than making an evening of it.

A likeable place with a light, airy interior and good Thai food. The menu includes authentic sticky rice served in baskets.

I was very disappointed, having heard that Morrels has such a good reputation. The food really lacked flavour and the vegetables reminded me of school dinners (e.g. jacket potato burnt solid). The service was not good either - starters arrived before drinks, and even after we reminded staff about drinks we had another considerable wait before they arrived. I'm hoping this was an off day and will try it again in light of more favourable reviews by others.

Bags of atmosphere and very very good coffee. The paninis and taps very tasty too (though portions a bit on the small side).

My favourite teashop in Keswick - serving great home made cakes and it's even licensed for all of those who want to indulge in a glass or 2 of wine. But for those like me....afternoon tea here is just the best!!!

Excellent and interesting menu. Very attentive service, perfect for special occasions. Well presented food in attractive contemporary surroundings. Worth the price. We will be back.

Don't be put off by the exterior. Good quality food at reasonable prices, good service, would definitely go back.

Visited Sweeney's last Friday night. There was no need to book a table (there were only three other groups in) and once the food arrived we could see why. The menu looked good but when the food turned up it far from lived up to expectation. I never realised it was possible to burn food & for it to be soggy at the same time. The chef appeared to have one approach to cooking - fry everything. This was the worst meal I have had in a long time

Ivy House Restaurant at Braithwaite is excellent. HPB members I am sure will agree.

Had a really poor experience at this restaurant in November 2007. Owner/manager was very rude and aggressive towards our party when we felt the food wasn't as good as the price reflected. The customer is always right is definitely not on his agenda. We left with a small reduction in the price but really shouldn't have paid. I am contacting the Tourist Board in Kewsick as I was really upset and worried about his attitude towards visitors.

The most amazing pub grub ever! Hungarian Goulash is stunningly good, plus excellent tap beers.

Stayed in September could not eat breakfast at all probably the worst offerings I have ever had - evening meals terrible - there were only 5 in the restaurant and all I can say is the service was lousy and the food as bad - complaints not taken seriously

fab food i had pollo carb was delicious, very busy so its best to book and the service was lovely too. definitely going again.

After booking a table for my partners birthday only to be told on arrival we hadn't by obnoxious staff, it was going to be a disaster! It was the worst meal ever! The lasagne was cold and swimming in grease. My partner had chilli chicken pasta and if you could find a piece of chicken and a taste of chilli amongst the water the pasta was sitting in, you would have been lucky! Keep away Keep away

This is the worst Italian restaurant i've ever eaten in. If you like microwave tv dinners this may be the place for you, but otherwise stay away!
