Food was delicious It was very busy with a big party so we got our own drinks at the bar to help, but didn't really need to as the service was good and the waitresses very attentive and kept checking everything was ok.

My auntie is such a budgie never finishes a meal , she did here !! . The service was abysmal waited 30 minutes for our drinks to come , then after our meal we ordered coffee’s only to cancel then after waiting 40 minutes . The to cap it all we had to queue at the bar to pay the bill , this is supposed to be a restaurant for gods sake . Joke of a place will definitely not be going back .

Henry’s Smokehouse – KirkhamAfter booking a table, when we got there was told no table and to go to the bar for a drink, we eventually got seated, at a table up some steps, with no atmosphere, bit on chilly side, feeling a bit cut of from rest of pub, ordered food, but 3 times waitress came to our table with wrong food, and huffed,as if it was our fault, when we got our food it was nice, although missing something I had been looking forward from original menu, that my son had the first time we visited, the tacos, might be a while till I return, only hope the people that I recommend it to after my first visit, get better treated on Thursday
Henry’s Smokehouse – KirkhamBooked a table, got there to be told there were people on our table, told to go to the bar and wait about 15 mins, eventually got seated at a table up some steps away from the main areas, bit on chilly side, and no atmosphere, tried to sit 5 at a table only suited for four, we moved a small side table over ourselves, just so we had a bit of space, ordered food, 3 times the waitress brought food to our table, that wasn’t for us, she kept on huffing, not our fault if staff can’t get it right, food was ok, when it eventually arrived, and it was ok, sons brisket wasn’t great, nachos were lovely, my steak was nice, but service needs improving

Buraq – KirkhamAmazing food, couldn’t fault it when it actually turned up. 1 hour 25 minute wait on a pre booked table on a Sunday evening and the place wasn’t full is not okay. No apology or pre warning any delays etc.
Henry’s Smokehouse – KirkhamAfter ordering our main course at 6.30pm we finally received it at 7.25pm. The burger was OK as was the beef brisket but the chips were overcooked and greasy. Staff were pleasant but hope the service gets quicker and the cooking of the chips improves.
Henry’s Smokehouse – KirkhamFirst of all I must say that the food at Henry's was absolutely fine. However,our table was booked for 17.15 on 17th March 2024 and our food order was taken at 17.50. The starters arrived at 18.20 followed by the mains at 19.00- after asking. We could see that there was a staff shortage but this should have been explained on arrival and the option given to go elsewhere.

Henry’s Smokehouse – KirkhamWe went on a Friday night. It was fairly busy. The food took a little while (1h45 total stay) but it was timely enough. Overpriced at £90 for two of us. More expensive than Hickory’s. The starters were overpriced. I had the long beef rib main, some of it was excellent some was very over done and hard. Mixed feelings. Definitely overpriced but still early days so they may still improve further. Staff were very polite and welcoming and a pleasure to be served by thanks.

Had beef brisket which was undercooked and chewy, with potato tots that aren’t actually tots they’re just cheap sliced potatoes . Ordered Mississippi Mud Pie for dessert and was served a tiny slice of cake that was smaller than the kids desserts so sent back and decided not to have a dessert at all. Received bill and was overcharged by £12 so went to bar to rectify which they did. You can’t advertise yourself as a smoke house and serve beef brisket that isn’t smoked or slow cooked and dry and chewy. On the plus side the kids enjoyed their meals . Will possibly try again and order something different from the menu to see if it was just a one off bad experience.

The only improvement for us would have been a little more heating as the room is large and open plan and we found it a little chilly. This will not stop us returning however as we had a lovely night
