Lovely change from the normal food was good service was excellent a bit pricey but plenty of food

Food was lovely but we pre ordered for 1pm but it didn’t come out until 1.35pm We were on a lunch hour break hence the pre order.

Sorry to say but we won’t be going back to Henry’s . Some drinks and food items weren’t available from the menu After waiting 50 mins for our food the pie I ordered was still frozen in the middle ! I felt sorry for our waitress as she had to keep saying sorry it’s not available, if we hadn’t ordered the drinks I would have walked away ! Luckily wasn’t charged for my meal ( as I sent it back) but I didn’t bother to reorder again . Very disappointing as it was a birthday meal too !

Staff are always friendly and helpful. The pub has a nice atmosphere and the food is very good. I would like to see more fish on the menu and less dishes with cheese in - as I have an intolerance but a minor point. Have eaten here many times and New Years Eve was excellent !

Absolutely terrible, bad service, food wasn’t up to scratch when it finally came, we had the platter and half of it was missing. Lack of choice as they hardly had anything on the menu staff rolling their eyes when complaining will not be attending again!!

Booked a table for 2 for Valentine's day with my wife. Walked in and was shown to our table, was told the beef ribs and sirloin steak was not available. The 2 items I was tempted by. within 5 minutes our drink order was taken. 20 mins later our food order was taken. 20 mins later we finally got our drinks and then a further 30 mins later did our food appear. A whole 1 hour 25 mins after we ordered. Crazy long time. I ordered the brisket and it was so dry. I asked the waitress if they had any dripping sause as you would get in other restaurants who serve brisket. I was pointed towards the tomato ketchup. I refuse to put ketchup on a brisket. Overall - service was awful. Food was bland. Won't be going there again.

Visited for the first time on Valentine’s Day. We made a 7pm reservation but the table wasn’t ready until 7.15. Not ideal but these things happen. We finally sat down and placed our order and unfortunately over an hour later our food hadn’t arrived. People were coming in after us, being served and leaving . When we flagged to the waitress they checked and it transpired they hadn’t placed our order. We had to reorder - we asked for the drinks to be complemented which after some back and forth was accepted (not offered) and waited again for our food. Our order finally arrived an hour and a half after we placed it . The food was very good and the waitresses were embarrassed and genuinely apologetic but the experience overall was clouded by the delays and just wasn’t great. This was our first visit and on Valentine’s Day so unlikely we’ll be trying again

Fantastic food as always. Polite and friendly staff. We are always happy with our meal whether eating in or take away. Complimentary popadoms and chutneys are a lovely touch and make for a delicious meal at a very reasonable price. You can be assured of our continuing custom. Thank you

Excellent service from the minute we arrived. Food was excellent 10/10. Can’t fault anything. Even though it was busy it didn’t effect the service. Will definitely be returning

This is a fantastic little place. The staff were friendly, lovely and attentive. The food was delicious and so fresh. For the first time ever, I even managed a home Made gluten free garlic naan bread and it was amazing. Service was quick and it was a lovely atmosphere. Thanks very much.

Nice greeting from a young member of staff. Very pleasant ambiance to the place and very welcoming. Comprehensive menu with some lunchtime specials. Overall good value for money, large portions and excellent food… will be visiting again.

Visited the Buraq with my friend, recently arrived in the UK for a short visit so hoping to impress with a good meal and we weren't disappointed. The food was superb, the service attentive but never rushed and we enjoyed an excellent evening

When as a family we discuss where to eat out the Kingfisher is high on our list. With a good selection of healthy fresh seasonal and Lancashire traditional foods including a section our kids love like their favourite Club sandwich and burgers we like to try something different on each visit. The Pub has a nice atmosphere with well maintained facilities including a kids play area and a nice clean outdoor dog friendly dining areas with heated and lit covered areas. Inside there’s a nice bar and dining area ideal for small or large groups. The staff are friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu. Easy to access by foot, bus or if we drive, for us we like the large car park which has disabled parking and is well lit.
