Finsley Gate Wharf – BurnleyGreat place with equally great food, service and the location is also wonderful
The Hapton Inn – BurnleyWe had the Brisket Sunday roast. It was exceptional. Good, friendly service.
The Hapton Inn – BurnleyAlways had a lovely service from here , however after our latest visit I was slightly disappointed, we arrived for our time reserved , only 3 chairs I had booked for 4 people , so after a little search a chair appeared , we ordered food and it came quiet prompt however the sandwich bread was hard the steak was dry , the chips was over cooked on 2 of the meals , the peppercorn sauce was cold , saying this one had a jacket potatoes which was enjoyed and had no problem . I have always enjoyed this venue , must have just been a bad day in the kitchen .
Finsley Gate Wharf – BurnleyLovely place and lovely meal. Took my 80 year old father out for food. Great meal but only 1 negative. I paid by cash and I had 1 x Scottish £10 within part of the cash. The waitress came running out to the car park to stop me. She was polite and told me they can’t accept Scottish money. I was polite and swapped it for an English £10. Does the management realise that Scotland is still part of the UK ?? Do they know there is also Scottish and Welsh pound coins within the British currency!!!!
The Hapton Inn – Burnleylovely food reasonable prices , staff lovely
The Hapton Inn – BurnleyLovely friendly staff. Food was excellent. Portion sizes are huge we actually struggled to eat it all so staff boxed it up so we could take it home. I have visited many times and have never been dissappinted with the food.
Finsley Gate Wharf – BurnleyApart from dogs throwing up in there and putting my daughter off her food the food was ok burger bun was a bit hard too much batter on onion rings the Sunday lunch was good starters were good.. great pint of Guinness and then the lad on the till screwed our bill up .

Finsley Gate Wharf – Burnley5 star!
Finsley Gate Wharf – BurnleyAll round fantastic
The Hapton Inn – BurnleyBrilliant
The Hapton Inn – BurnleyWe went with high expectations after hearing good reports about the food and were extremely disappointed. We found the food underwhelming and very overpriced, despite choosing items off the "specials" board. One dish looked like it had been sat under heat lamps too long and had formed a skin on top, the other dish lacked a key ingredient that was listed in its description, resembled and tasted not much better than microwave meal. Staff also lacked wine knowledge, offering a medium option when dry was requested and my partner was accosted in the toilets by someone who was under the influence of drugs. To add insult to injury, we were overcharged for one of the mains.
The Hapton Inn – BurnleyWarm and welcoming atmosphere and staff, great service, great price and food was delishious , big portion and great selection
Finsley Gate Wharf – BurnleyWe ate here on a Monday evening, one adult, one teen and one child. Firstly the atmosphere felt welcoming as we entered, secondly the young girl who allocated us to a table and who served us was polite and engaging. Nothing was to much trouble. We enjoyed our meals, we had a lasagne, adult fish and chips and a child’s meal. I didn’t think the child’s meal was good value for money, I think it was £8.99 which did include ice cream but the meal was only tomato pasta, not too costly to make. The apple juices I ordered were served in small school type beakers so several gulps from a thirsty child and they needed replacing. All in all we enjoyed it and we will visit again. It would be nice if the owners acted on the critique and adapted the children’s menu and soft drinks sizes/prices. Staff excellent.
The Hapton Inn – BurnleyLovely friendly staff , and excellent food at a proper price .
The Hapton Inn – BurnleyOnce again, fantastic!! My friend, and I, visit whenever we can, for a catch up. Love the food, the friendly atmosphere and the wonderful staff. The same lady serves us whenever we go and she is brilliant! Smiley, chatty, helpful..not sure of her name, but I would love her to be recognised for her customer service. Hoping this will get back to her. Keep up the good work..Highly recommended...
