The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallWe visited to celebrate my sister's 80th birthday. The service and food were excellent and the whole atmosphere of the place is really welcoming. The two young women serving us that day went out of their way to make it a lovely experience.

A’Vucciria – RawtenstallDined on Friday evening it was a fabulous meal lovely staff and great service thank you . Sadly we had to witness a very rude man at the bar berating and shouting at the lady behind the bar well done for your composure
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallCelebrated my 39th birthday with friends! We loved every minute! Great service, food was tasty and great options available! Thank you
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallWe drove up from Sutton Coldfield to see my cousin and the three of us had lunch on Friday, 19th April. We had not been there since it was refurbished and the whole place has been transformed, with a lovely view from a large window across the Valley. The food and friendly service was excellent. Would highly recommend it to anyone.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallHi - regarding the meal at 5.15pm 19.04.24 We have just had a very pleasant meal at the Whitchaff which I have been going to for the last 50 years on and off. I had booked for 23 people but due to unfortunate circumstances only 22 could make it. When I entered the premises the first thing I did was to ask if I could have their deposit deducted for our bill. The person said she would have to ask a colleague who confirmed this was okay (a young lady with a Liverpudlian accent). However when I came to settling the final bill at the end the same lady ( with a Liverpudlian accent) said this was not possible and denied the conversation previously, accusing me of lying until I reminded her that she actually poured the half of moretti I ordered, then remembered the conversation and said their had been a misunderstanding. After this she sarcastically said that the only way I would get the £5 refunded was if she put it in herself. I said you cannot do that as it was not the £5 it was the attitude and principle. It finished with her appolosing to the next customers about me, which I take offence to. Bearing in mind that 15 months ago we had 19 there, but only 18 turned up and they just took the whole £95 off the bill. I organise lots of large group events and have contacts also who organise groups I will be sharing my experience with them. I am VERY disappointed in the attitude of that person which ruined a very good day and will not step in there again.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallLovely meal on Sunday evening. Food delicious. Service excellent. Relaxing and enjoyable. Highly recommended 10/10. Thank you
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallBeen wanting to go here since they finished the refurbishment. It was well worth waiting for. The food was delicious - we had two courses from the Specials menu and one from the standard menu. All were delicious and served promptly. Looking forward to going again.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallFabulous food as always although was disappointed that there was no Guinness. Also for some reason it was very warm in the pub and was very relieved to get some fresh once we’d finished meal and got outside.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallLovely birthday meal, many yummy tapas (small thing, take it easy on salt please!) my favourite is the potato croquettes- loaded with flavours! Thank you for a lovely evening!
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallA fabulous afternoon at the Whichaff. A warm welcome and great service from Duelisa and Fern. The menu makes choosing a dish very difficult, such a lot of exciting food to choose from. The vegetarian and vegan options were varied and tasty. The meat eaters were very happy with their burgers. Sides of fries with pulled pork and onion rings were outstanding. Puddings were equally difficult to decide on but I took the advice of Duelisa and opted for the lemon and raspberry pavlova and was so happy I did. It was delicious. Our party also enjoyed the Bakewell tart, sticky toffee pudding and chocolate and hazelnut cheesecake. We were four very happy and full diners. We can't wait to come back!
