Sultan Of Lancaster – LancasterThis restaurant has been a favourite of mine for a while. The Sunday menu is restricted but still has plenty of great choices. Two of us chose a Sunday roast, which were lovely. My dad chose a fish dish that was new to us all, it was perfect, he really enjoyed it. The service was excellent. The room was busy, the music loud but when we asked for a move away from a speaker it was organised without fuss. The whole team were lovely from the moment we arrived, 10 out of 10. My only gripe is that the cutlery needs a sharpen :)

Then we felt like we had been left once we’d decided on no puddings as we were the last table in. Only to find all the staff sat at the bar. Couldn’t fault the food but service needs some work

Food is top draw there and very reasonably priced.No rush to eat up either. Very dog friendly with a great atmosphere. Staff excellent too. Highly recommended. Did wonder if tikka kebab should have been accompanied by mango chutney, not chilli jam. Very pleasant waiting staff. We are looking forward to coming back. Thanks to all the crew for a nice evening.

Sultan Of Lancaster – LancasterA really good meal. Good food and atmosphere and the table service was very good, we were well looked after. A small criticism is that on arrival we were a little early so decided to have a drink at the bar. The service was very slow. The bar man seemed to have many things to do on top of serving customers at the bar. With only 2 people ahead of me it took far too long to be served. Everything else was excellent. Thank you.
The Lodge – LancasterSecond Saturday at this excellent pub. We choose differently to last week & again all choices were excellent. Good portion sizes & restaurant quality. Staff were attentive & very friendly. Would definitely recommend.

There wasn't a complaint from either of us with regards to, the food served, that was absolutely wonderful, the friendly welcoming staff, or, the excellent surroundings. We will definitely be going back and the place is thoroughly recommended. Please pay the Station Hotel a visit, you will not be disappointed. Regards Graham.
