We go every year to celebrate our anniversary. In all the 10 years we have been going both my husband and I have never been disappointed by the food or service. I would highly recommend this restaurant!
Golden Dragon – LancasterA beautiful and impressive building which is warm and inviting inside and is very child friendly (we had small children with us) . The food was delicious and service was excellent! I believe it has been taken over by Chameleon pub company, and it is very much improved in my opinion. I shall most certainly shall be returning!
Greaves Park – LancasterWe stumbled across this venue by chance and what a chance to take. The Staff were warm , friendly and extremely helpful. i chose the homemade classic burger whilst my partner chose the hot pot. The food was excellent and considering it was of such a high quality the prices were fantastic only £5.25 for the burger and £4.95 for the hot pot. The standard of the food you would expect to find in a top restaurant. The Nice bar and restaurant is definitely a place we will be visiting again and again and certainly one to recommend to others.
Nice Bar and Restaurant – Lancasterwe just came back from spending a weekend at Lancaster, we found etna on our 2nd night just by chance, OH MY GOD everything about the place was outstanding, I had steak my husband had chicken in white wine sauce, both meals were delicious, we were recommended a sparkling rose wine which was lovely and had profiteroles for desert. all staff from being greeted at the door from the waiter who took our order and the owner who was sociable and funny were a pleasure, the best steak i had ever tasted. the whole experience was a delight.
Etna Pizza Pasta – LancasterWent to Marco's last Saturday night 2nd October 2010 for someones 18th, the food was excellent but the service was awful, some people in the group were getting there courses 10-15 mins after the rest which is very poor, ordered drinks and they took 20 mins to come, sorry won't recommend this place to anyone, they need to get there act together and I won't be going again.
Marcos – LancasterI've been to 1725 several times. I try different tapas each time, and I'm always amazed at how good each is.
1725 – LancasterWe recently celebrated our daughter's graduation at The Meeting House. All five of us thought that the food and ambience were superb. It is a delightful and comfortable setting with great service. But above all the food was outstanding - every dish (and we all had something different) was unique, freshly cooked, sourced locally and presented really well. A great evening - true hospitality!
Meeting House Restaurant – Lancastergreat food and drink mmmmmmmmm
The Fox and Goose – LancasterA great addition to the Lancaster restaurant scene: locally-sourced food, cooked to perfection; simple but relaxed decor; friendly service with just the right amount of attentiveness. A 'must try' if you enjoy good food.
Meeting House Restaurant – LancasterWe really enjoyed our choices for lunch at the Stork. I had the South African Pie which was chicken and sweet potato. My wife has the trio of sausages. We ate outside enjoying the sun and lovely views over the countryside!
The Stork Inn – Lancasterexcellent food, with fantastic service, I have been several times and would keep going back. The only time we had any issue was when there was only one chef on a sat night, they did apologise for the wait, and it wasn't quite as theatrical, but still a fantastic evening! If you have never eaten Japanese, don't be put off, it's not all raw fish! But I would recommend trying the Sushi as it is beautiful!
Miyabi Japanese Restaurant – LancasterA very mediocre experience.. The food is average, a little overpriced (the drinks especially so), and the service is not very attentive (my wife had to ask for the correct cutlery for her meal). In addition, the 'optional' service charge was added to the bill, making it a compulsory service charge. Surely it should be up to the customer to decide the value of the service, not the restaurant. Overall, quite disappointing.
Etna Pizza Pasta – LancasterQuite simply the best meal I've had in Lancaster ever, this is a hidden gem with superb service, beautiful plates of food, a relaxed atmosphere and care given to every detail. Would definitely recommend :)
The Secret Bistro – Lancastervery good entertainment here went to quiz night on Tuesday good laugh and free food at half time went back on Thursday as had live music well worth a look advert says 3 course Sunday lunch for under a £10 hard to believe going today to try!!!
The Robert Gillow – Lancasterfound this place by chance to-day best value Sunday lunch for a very long time good food great atmosphere very helpful staff and live music
The Robert Gillow – Lancasterrecommendation i don't think so,i have never eaten food fit for a dog but ETNA,s managed it over cooked pasta with passata sauce i can manage better at home want stodgy cheep Asda bought pizza basses you've got it (owner admitted most things bought from ASDA) over priced cheap wine most of the wine purchased from ALDI (it says so on back of bottle) thank you ETNA,s for the worst food ever and the owner is quite happy to admit the food is "CRAP" so there goes really never never eat here this is the most honest review about this crappy hole
Etna Pizza Pasta – LancasterThis is currently my favourite restaurant in Lancaster. The menu is not too long but there is enough variety, including interesting choices for vegetarians. I would recommend hiring the restaurant for your private party. We had it to ourselves for a big family Sunday lunch and it was lovely and very reasonably priced. Everyone was impressed!
Meeting House Restaurant – LancasterThe Old Bell Coffee House has a sparkly atmosphere, serving snack type meals and 'to die for' cake selection - all made on the premises. Helpful quick service and always pleasing.
