Reviews in Lancaster

I absolutely LOVE this Italian restaurant. Really relaxing surroundings and very pleasant staff. I have never had a better pizza anywhere else and would recommend the Spaghetti House to even the most hard to please diner - you will not be disappointed!! Even though I never sampled the desserts they looked absolutely amazing and next time I visit I may just try one!

On the 25/06/12 toilet had no soap or hand drying means .Was not happy with service . Found waiter service sub standard.

Dalton Rooms is Lancaster could be best described as an up-market bar, restaurant and club which has solidified its place as a well-respected eating establishment. The 50 off food offer on Monday's after 6pm is something which only a fool could turn down as the food is simply unbelievable for the price it turns out to be. The staff are very friendly and the drinks on offer are vast as the bar is huge in length and a fine selection of lagers, spirits and ales are on offer. The food could be best described as pub-style but with far superior quality. Well worth the price-tag without the 50 off as I can quite honestly say their food is better than Revolution's up the road, and that isn't an insult to Revolution's either! The drinks are quite expensive but are justified on the grounds of how strong they are/expensive to import/produce. The Timmermans Strawberry beer and Leffe Blonde (6.6 abv) is £5/pint but is definitely something which goes well with the style of the restaurant. Other drinks are far cheaper than this, but this is just an insight to how expensive it can be. The downstairs area hosts a very food quality club-area which is known to host burlesque nights as well as Latin-American style theme nights so regardless if you're after a simple meal and wine or a few vodkas and a dance - Dalton Rooms is one place to try!Notable Offers:50 off Food on Mondays after 6pmTwo courses and wine for £10 on TuesdaysBeat the Clock Menu on Thursdays (2 courses for £6-9 depending on WHEN you turn up, after 6pm)

Okay, so the food is very good, but when we went it was pathetically, embarrassingly slow. After tweeting to ask if anything was different, being ignored has led me as a student to one conclusion- GoBurrito is failing to satisfy its market. Stop messing about and get organised!

I'm a student at Lancaster uni so obviously I am inclined to look out for the cheapest, tastiest and best value food there is on the market ,and 'GoBurrito' definitely ticks all of the above boxes. Lip smackingly good food for those on a budget! I have had several burritos and I am still struggling to decide on a favourite. Best for value and taste in Lancaster! x

After a weekend in the Lakes, I called into a very wet Lancaster for a bite to eat. I popped into Go Burrito for quick snack...what a find this place is! Great food, well priced, pleasant and helpful staff. This eatery is a must for anyone going to Lancaster...enjoy!!!!

Excellent find! Visited Blue Moon during an overnight stay in Lancaster and what an absolute joy it was too! The staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful and attentive throughout. Great atmosphere and fantastic food. Initially couldn't find the restaurant but following a quick call to them a member of staff came and met us no less than 200 yards away. Would definitely return if I find myself in the area again. Thank you Blue Moon for a fab evening!

If you live in Lancaster then you must visit GoBurrito. The burritos here are quickly building a fantastic reputation, especially the 'Sink the Titanic Challenge' The staff are very friendly and always accommodating. They listen to customers requests, even for things not on the menu. I have visited this place very frequently since opening and have introduced many people to the fresh food available and so far I have not herd a single complaint about service or quality of food. Here's hoping to a very long and successful establishment. I don't know what I would do without a weekly (sometimes daily) burrito and fantastic Mexican Coffee.

First time we have had a burrito and they are delicious! So good we went back a few hours later and had another! Spicy chicken was my favourite. Healthy food, Friendly staff and reasonable prices, definitely worth a visit

We were burrito novices until we chanced upon GoBurrito on one of our frequent trips to Lancaster, We fell in love with the great flavours of the food and really like the Mexican vibe going on in this quirky 'olde worlde' venue! Amid a little town full of eating places this stands out as a shining light, great fresh food. friendly staff and competitive prices. Keep it up GoBurrito, you are unique and we look forward to our next visit! Jan and Micky.

2 words- "Holy Cheese..." My Fiance, Baby son Oscar and me visited Go Burritos for the first time today whilst having our usual family get out on a Thursday. Almost every Thursday we grab a bite to eat. This weeki however was time for change... We heard about Go Burrito through friends who talked about the 'Man Vs Food'esq challenge they have with "The Titanic" 6lb burrito. Upon entering GoBurrito, I was a little concerned about where to put our Son's tank of a pram, but we sat at a table nearer the door which had enough room to stick him. The smells coming from the burrito bar were AMAZING. Wafts of cheeky salsa, slow cooked meats, marinades which take over your taste buds upon smelling them...ooouufff! The menu boards are hand drawn and funky looking, super easy to follow and simple. The chap serving up the burritos was lovely. Very helpful, and genuinely hoping we enjoyed our food. The shop was clean and cosy- hip and upto date. Taking my first bite into the burrito was just, BY THE BEARD OF ZEUS...... DELICIOUS. I ordered the spicy chicken. The meat was cooked perfect, the marinades dripped out of the chicken with everybite and the rice, salsa and sour cream accompaniments were perfectly matched. I truly felt caveman/women like clutching my PHAT burrito and dinting it with every bite. A fantastic food experience not to be missed... 10 Bernies out of 10!

While wandering around the centre of Lancaster with the other half and our 4 month son. Debating where to go for food we had grown tired of fast food eateries, multi-national coffee houses and the throng of pound-a-dozen pasty dispensers. I then remembered a few friends mentioning "GoBurrito". We popped in to the smells of delicious meat and spices plus a rather industrious young man helping a couple with what was on offer and explaining how it was all prepared. While waiting I read what options were available, opting for spicy chicken. When I got my burrito's and drinks I sat down to a wonderful feast in a soft tortilla. I opted for a mix of salsa's (mild and the hotter house salsa) which was amazing, giving a nice hit to start but leaving a nice lime tingle at the end. Oh and the chicken was amazing it is hard to describe how good it was but the marinade was full of flavour. I would heartily recommend Go Burrito for quantity, quality, value and service

Had a fantastic evening at Goburrito. Excellent authentic food in a great atmosphere, cooked and served by enthusiastic and friendly staff. A must for lunch for anyone visiting or living in Lancaster. Go Goburrito!

Took my 2 hungry teenagers in for a takeaway - great food, tasty options and the medium size burrito plus nachos even managed to fill my 6ft 5in 17 year old bottomless pit of a son - Definitely a new alternative to the Friday night takeaway pizza

Whether a fan of Mexican or not....the food here is a treat! Great friendly efficient service and some great variety on the menu. Can't get back soon enough!!

What can I say... ooooft! I think I've eaten more times at goburitto than I have at home since it opened. Relaxing environment to eat at and the burittos and nachos are just awesome. Especially the chicken with chorizo. Very filling and I shall attempt the Titanic very soon. Defo recommend this establishment and hope its around for a long time :)

Tasty, filling, moreish and ideal food to eat while walking round historic Lancaster.Very reasonable cost with friendly service. Coming back to try out the upstairs room soon......

Go Burrito is an absolutely fantastic place to eat out or takeaway. The food is so fresh and delicious. The staff are very friendly and will make your order exactly the way that you want it. Their passion for the Mexican food and casual manner of dining really shines through and each time I eat there I feel really welcome and cared for. All the dishes are amazingly good value and the service is so fast and friendly that I can pop in even if I am pressed for time. I would highly recommend Go Burrito to anyone. There are meat options and vegetarian options and I am vegan and find that there are choices for me too.
