Bosh

I came here with my Boyfriend after we had been on holiday and wanted to cheer ourselves up with a Spanish style restaurant and tapas. We were not disappointed! the service was very good and the manager was present and making sure people were looked after. We had a selection of dishes (about 8) and a bottle of Rosa (that was recommended). The whole experience was lovely and I would definitely go back again.

We just love it there, and Phil - what an amazing guy. really polite and jovial and he has become one of my closest friends as a result of me constantly dining in The Foundry. Emmerdale stars a plenty (my favourite) and Ken Bates is always knocking around. (God I love that man!) I can really recommend this place as I love it so much. I really really like it here. You must go. It is worth the really expensive menu as it is amazing. Celebs! Millionaires!! i love it.

The early bird special is highly recommended. £21 for 3 quality courses and 1/2 bottle wine is unmatched in Leeds.

I really enjoyed the food here and thought that the cost was not that expensive with regards to another Teppanyaki restaurant in Leeds. I would definitely recommend it to another.

Absolutely superb food - easily the best noodle bar in Leeds by quite a margin. Might seem expensive price wise until you see the size of the dishes, they are huge. Not only that but they are cooked ultra fresh in a no-nonsense environment and you couldnt ask for more if good food is what you want. Confused by the comment by another reader who said its a chinese food joint pretending to be japanese - I am chinese and there is nothing remotely chinese about this place, the food, chefs and character definitely aren't. I think you must be getting this place confused with Tampopo and Little Tokyo which are taking the mick.

Is it just me that isn't wild about this place? Its alright yes and certainly doesn't deserve a slating, but i don't think its as amazing as other places in leeds and i don't understand why the place is regarded as something special! I've been to BiBi's a few times, trying different dishes on each visit. I've never been disappointed, but then again i certainly wasn't blown away! Looking at the prices of the food that i consider 'alright' but not amazing, i don't think its reasonable in my personal opinion and i would only go to BiBi's at another persons suggestion. In terms of Italian food, Dino's meals are just as good, and cost less and even Pizza express do better pizza! The service was friendly and quickish granted, but i find the decor very odd - the outside of the place looks lovely but see through glass toilet doors, big plasma screens playing adverts, an absolutely packed bar and wicker chairs aren't quite my cup of tea when eating in a 'fine italian restaurant'.... I'd much rather cross the road to eat in the equally priced thai restaurant. Its much better there all around and deserves more praise than BiBi's!

Excellent chilled out place to go. Food is great and service is brilliant! Sort of place you can do posh food in jeans!

The young French chief is able to produce very good food. Been there for around two years now. Bar manager knows his customers. One real ale. First class selection of bottle beers and draft lagers. food specials most days.

Was there on Friday the 20th July. I’m from Newcastle went with my wife. The meal was beautiful the staff where all so polite and the atmosphere was brilliant. Would recommend it to anyone. We got a shared starter and two main courses and vodka’s and cokes and it only came to £43 pounds, I was expecting a bill of about £65 to £75 was well chuffed and tipped a £10. Go there you wont be disappointed.

I had a great meal here midweek, no pressure and a waitress who was happy to chat, for a change! I visit the city regularly and I use the hotel regularly for coffee and lunches. Thought I would try their evening menu, I was not disappointed

I love the Sheesh Mahal restaurant, it is by far the best Indian in Leeds. I can't get enough of it. Such large portions for such an average price. The staff are so friendly and welcome you as soon as walk in the door!

Even yorkshiremen would not complain about the price of food at Fuji Hiro. Inexpensive and positively mouthwatering and I make sure I visit every time I go to Leeds. The menu itself is fairly limited but this ensures that the food served to you is perfect in taste and substance. The decor puts me in mind of a formica table-topped greasy spoon cafeteria and this adds to the charm of the place. I cannot recommend Fuji Horo highly enough. If you have not been there you are missing out. If you enjoy good food, good service and good prices without fuss and pretence then this is the place for you.

While I found the restaurant a little cramped and the service a little slow, the food was excellent - especially the peppers with mascarpone - and they serve a killer Mojito. Definitely come early or book, though.

Having spend several months in China over the past few years I went to Red Chilli with some Customers. It was so good I went back with some other Customers 2 days later .The hot pots are spicy hot although excellent and the steamed fish is the best I have eaten in UK . Well worth a visit and the best Chinese in Leeds.

Bibis Criterion Restaurant

I have reviewed this establishment may times over the years, having frequented it in all of its 3 locations. Bibis is simply the best there is - anywhere in the world, in my opinion. I think its possible to have a not so good time there, if you get your food choice wrong or if you're going for a quiet date. But if you want top bar staff and definitively good service combined with great, great food, book a table in a corner, let the waiter know you know what you want and demand his attention and you CANNOT fail to enjoy yourself. The Head Chef is a legend and the front of house staff are exemplary. This place has no equal in the whole world.

Expected very good things from all the great reviews we had read about Red Chilli. The food was outstanding - really really tasty. Unfortunately the service was pretty terrible. The waiting staff were surly, unfriendly & rude. Atmosphere in the restaurant not great either. Overall though it won't stop us returning for the great food!
