Brilliant Brilliant Brilliant!!! We keep trying others but nothing can compete & we keep on coming back for more! This place is heaven! Recently being extended which should cut down on the waiting times.... The food is authentic, fresh & cooked to perfection... The atmosphere is really buzzy, we have eaten here tons of times & every night has been brilliant! Keep up the good work guys

Valentines evening. Very nice place, wonderfully polite Thai people. Sadly we were pointed to the bar and received no service. Food was excellent. Reasonably speedy service on food. Very slow on drinks.

Beautifully decorated restaurant, with a good menu. We went on a miserable wednesday night, and although rather quiet the service was polite but rather slow. The food when it did arrive was very pleasant, but did not quite live up to my expectations. That said, a thoroughly enjoyable night. However Sukhothai in Chapel Allerton is still my favourite thai restaurant, and my yardstick by which I measure all others. Not beaten yet.

The starters are magnificent! I don't think the main course quite matches up but still good Chinese food.

I've not been to any other Japanese restaurants, so I can't really compare, but it would certainly make me want to try other Japanese restaurants. I was pleased there was a choice (as I'd always been led to believe Japanese food was all raw fish!). The box meals are great, so filling. The decor was gorgeous too.

Those in the 'Bar World' knew it was only a matter of time before Jake finally opened a bar of his own, and hasn't he done well!! Although a somewhat self-indulgent self-named bar 'jakes,' the cocktail menu lives up to the high expectations everyone had. A fantastic variety of original cocktails- what Jake is known for- combined with perfectly made classics, ensure even the pickiest bartender (this bar is always filled with off-duty bartenders, I'm one of them!) is left sipping and smiling. One of the best bars in Leeds

Amazing bar that? worth the long walk. It has a relaxed vibe and cool staff and punters, just avoid the Jagermeister if you want to leave with any dignity

I am a curry holic - however this was simply the best cooked meal I have had. Fresh ingredients beautiful flavours friendly service - take it for what it is - home cooked food in a friendly environment and you can not be disappointed. If you are go back to the bog standards everywhere else. and leave the good stuff for us!!!!

Absolutely fantastic food. Now rates as one of my favs in Leeds. Skipped a starter and had the lamb chumps with walnut stuffing. Give me the recipe!! Attention to flavour is something else. Starters £6-8ish Mains are about £12-£15 depending on side orders. Good array of wines and beers as well.

Been to this restaurant twice and have enjoyed it immensely both times. Excellent atmosphere and furnishings and the food is delicious, and surprisingly inexpensive. The staff are very welcoming and pleasant without being in your face. Would recommend this place to anyone, Superb

Azlam is a brilliant guy who runs a brilliant restaurant. The best curry in Leeds has got even better recently with the addition of new dishes. Try the aubergine curry for a special new taste!

The eating experience at sous le nez was superb. I had the scallops with gruyere and minced garlic, not the largest starter you will ever eat, but the scallops were plum and it was divine. My partner had the moules mariniere which was very good, although there were a number of empty shells. Main course for me was the venison with apple and black pudding. The meat was tender and the combination of tastes and textures was superb. My partner? haddock with wild mushrooms and spinach was reportedly amazing. The vegetables which accompanied the meal were cooked to absolute perfection, which I think is a good indicator of a great restaurant. Doing the small things well. We shared a desert of vanilla parfait with prunes and earl grey syrup which was amazing, washed down with some good value desert wine. All in all, it was the best meal I?e eaten in Leeds, much better than la Grillade. The friendly and helpful service also put the stuffy and pompous service in la Grillade in the shade. We will definitely be going back to Sous le Nez.

I have been going to this restaurant for about 4 years now since having it recommended by a friend. I have celebrated birthdays and xmas there. It is absolutely outstanding. The food is always fabulous and the service is always first class. I have not had a bad experience even when I took bunch of colleagues there and they put us in the back out of the way!!

I went to the new Bibis last night and can only come up with superlatives to describe the experience. The décor is outstanding - it? like walking into a high class 1930? Chicago joint; quite appropriate seeing as the Italian Mafia were at their peak at that time. It? slick, it? tasteful, it smells of extravagance - absolutely every aspect has been taken into consideration from the floor tiles to the uniforms and the black straws. The whole of the kitchen is on open view to the public and it was fascinating to watch the professionals at work - live, rather than on TV. The service is superb, smart, friendly and efficient. One waiter, not responsible for our table, was walking past, noticed our wine glasses were half full and stopped to refill our glasses. The menu is extensive, the food exquisite, and best described as my taste buds having sex! The ambience is spirited and sparkling and the buzz contagious. All diners are respected equally, no matter whether they?e dressed casually or smartly and the menu is sure to meet anybody? budget. Already my favourite restaurant - ever!
