We had to wait a while for the food but it was worth it. The food was indeed some of the best I had ever tasted we liked it so much that decided to try the delivery service which we use very often. You should give it a try.

Been going here for years now, always the place of choice....Fuji Hero is where I go when money's tight, but when I? not poor Little Tokyo is the place! Fast friendly service, diverse menu, brilliant surroundings and fairly priced. Shall be there on New Year? Day if it's open!

I was taken for the first time by my godmother and i instantly fell in love with it! It became my absolute favourite restaurant! I've introduced it to all my friends and i go almost every time i go to leeds. The food is amazing and such good value for money!!!

I'm Chinese therefore a little difficult to impress I suppose. Went for the MAXI'S EXPRESS (in the LIGHT, Headrow) Sunday £8 buffet. Food was not bad. Staff were attentive, generally polite & quick to serve. Decor & ambience was OK. Not really where you'd go for an intimate date as most tables seated 4 or more therefore ideal for a bunch of mates. Good price for the spread. I'd go back!

Very Good home cooked food. Nice idea to be BYO wine and beer. Try the starters, as a main course is a great idea.

9/10 initially entered with trepidation due to unremarkable exterior. My fears were soon dispelled when the Spanish waitress brought over an assortment of tapas delights. Ludicrously cheap with Havana Club and Crystal on tap, the atmosphere is electric and compliments the food perfectly. It successfully recreates a modern Havana 'paladare' whilst conforming to EU regulations and being free from the US induced rationing of Castro's Cuba. The Lamb and cod cakes are superb. Crazy booking system (there isn't one!)

Oh my god, I love this restaurant. The service is outstanding, the food is beautiful (I especially love the vegetable spring rolls and the green tea ice cream) and the decor is excellent. You are made to feel extremely comfortable from the minute you walk in. I live a good way away from Leeds but it? definitely worth the trip. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to try Japanese cuisine!

Tucked away on a side street near the infamous Mojo, Sandinista is definitely in the top two of my favourite venues in Leeds (the other being the aforementioned Mojo). The Central American inspired bar offers a relaxed atmosphere in which to sample the extensive menu of home cooked food (best described as a fusion of traditional English and Latin inspired dishes) or enjoy the impressive drinks list. With a distinctly revolutionary feel Sandinista is a unique concept in a city that is being over-run with corporate chain bars/restaurants and the fact that they don't conform to this benchmark is what makes the place so loveable. Famed for its Sunday Recovery Kit (board games, Sunday papers, Bloody Marys and a Sunday menu to die for - from Eggs Florentine to Sunday roast) Sandinista? bartenders are among the friendliest I have come across. Also a great pioneer for local talent, Sandinista regularly play host to up and coming bands and DJs and have an impressive music collection featuring the most influential of sounds from the history of music. Definitely worth a visit!

This place was recommended to me by a Chinese friend - always a good way of judging a Chinese restaurant. The food is excellent and the place is decorated beautifully.

Food is delicious but service is VERY slow.

Coming here is always enjoyable - the atmosphere is great and so is the food. Get here early though as it gets REALLY busy.

This place is a particular favourite of mine - my fiancé and I go there a lot since the food is excellent. Everything comes in huge portions and is always delicious. The service is very good and the atmosphere is something really quite special - notice in particular what they do when a birthday cake comes out!

Maxi's in the light is the best Chinese I have been to, service is top class, all the staff are friendly, never had any problems with the food, plenty to choose from, and for £7/£8 to eat as much as you want you can't go wrong. I highly recommend going here for something to eat.

Like many restaurants these days Akbars breaks away from the traditional ?urry House?and goes for a light, bright and modern feel. In my opinion it is the best Indian in town, where the Balti dishes not only have fantastic flavour but are also good value for money. The large naan breads are to die for, try a garlic & chilli one! Only moan is a small bar and the only place to smoke!

I've always enjoyed Hansas. The food is different and more authentic than traditional curry house fayre. Great opportunities to try something different. Not the cheapest but it wouldn't be - its pretty unique in the region.

Typical trendy eatery. More style than substance but not bad if you're in the city centre.
