My favourite restaurant in Leeds. The profiteroles are to die for...

Not bad, but not Japanese. Trade descriptions act should tell everyone that this is a dressed-up Chinese joint cashing in on a trend.

A little gem hidden on the south side of the river in the City Centre. Although it may look a little 'cheesy' from the outside, the food and service allowed me to celebrate Valentines Day in a truely romantic setting.

I have never been so impressed with a restaurant in my life! This was the best meal Ive ever had out. We got seated straight away even though it was a busy Friday night. Our bottle of red wine was brought to the table straight away and soon after we ordered the starter it arrived. i would reccomend the Bruschetta starter to anyone who goes. It was enough for two people to share and not dry like most, it was piled high with pesto, tomato, and huge red onions! Not only was the food excellent but so was the service. Me and my boyfriend got into a deep conversation and neglected the second half of the pizza, so we asked the waiter if he could warm it up, two minutes later we both had hot pizzas again and could enjoy the rest of our meal. Prices were extremely reasonable,we had a great night! Thanks x

The food was good and cheap but not worth it for what you get good place to chill and have a drink though

'Best noodles in mainland Europe' was how the Observer rated this place, and they were right. Forget the likes of waggammas, or little tokyo, the food at fujis outshines them by far.

I would definately visit again and reccommend to friends!

Not bad in every respect, except the design means anyone in the middle of the restaurant is caught in a freeeeezing draught every time the door opens. Which is often!

This moodily lit place puts one in mind of an eighties restaurant for hip wall street workers. Extremely good for both business/romantic evenings it is a little more pricey tan most other japanese places in Leeds. But the winning point here is the food. Best...sushi...ever! At least in leeds.

Akmals is brilliant for students, great hospitality, relatively cheap and great tasting food.

very enjoyable night,even though we were the only diners that evening,price was £40.00 per head which we thought was a bit pricey for the amount of food that was served,but it wouldnt put us off returning

i have been frequenting this restaurant for 10 years or more and within that time i can say i have only ever had one bad course ... we also had our xmas party there this year and it was brilliant 16 people all had what they wanted on time to perfection all this with a full restaurant...

Exceptionally friendly staff and tasty, wholesome soup, noodle and rice dishes. Forget how the Japanese miniaturise everything, these were the snacks between meals that built Sumo wrestlers

Simply fantastic. I havent eaten better. Can't book tho and I suggest you get there early on a weekend and expect to wait for 20-40 mins for a table as its very popular. But they do have a bar...

The restaurant was offering a two for one meal between 6pm and 10pm. Myself and two friends visited at 9.50pm.Eventually the order was taken and on conclusion I must say that the quantity and quality of the food was very good. We received the bill and pointed out that no deduction had been made for the two for one offer. The reply was "You didnt come in until 10.5pm Ive written it down. We disagreed and he then said, well you didnt get served until after 10pm. Thats it. It appears the offer is purely to get people in, and would you believe it the waiter wasnt bothered. When told we would have been regular visitors and would not be coming again the reply was well Im not bothered. I would have been quite happy to pay the full price, because It would have been good value. Unfortunately we will have to dine elsewhere. My friends and I are regular visitors to Indian restaurants in Leeds,Bradford and other parts of West Yorkshire and I have never met this attitude before. What a pitty.

excellent food spoiled by the manners (or lack of) of the waiter. Kept waiting for 15 mins so the 2 for one offer up to 10pm was cancelled as the waiter booked the serving time as 10.05pm. Will not revisit as the result of this waiters attitude when questioned. This would have been a regular eating house for 4 of us, but when the waiter was told we would not be back he said "i don't care". Not the right attitude to take towards what i would call valued customers.

I have been to Bibis quite a bit and it is always an excellent experience. Probably the best italian in leeds and a gem of a restaurant if you find it.

This is a great restaurant - fantastic food, a varied and interesting menu, well presented and beautifully presented. Great ambience. perfect for a romantic night out or a group event. The lunch deals are excellent.
