The wife and I went for Sunday Roast yesterday. The food, the staff and the ambience were all excellent.

Visited for the second time on Sunday 15th June. Can’t recommend highly enough. The staff and the food are fantastic. It’s not often now that you go out for a meal and feel like you have had total value for money, but this has been totally true for us on both occasions.

Second visit to Lookout, great seafood served with style and respect by attentive staff. Sitting outside is likely to attract the attention of the local gulls so be wary of them! That said it doesn’t detract from the overall enjoyment and we’ll 100% be back soon.

Third visit with my family in less than a year. Really good food and service.

Lovely meal, traditional bar area, friendly welcome and fabulous service from start to finish. Good choice of food, not the cheapest but worth it for the environment, quality and service.

First visit for us Saturday evening what a lovely place with fab views and good choice on the menu. We had the fish/seafood starter bucket to share then the seafood stew and the chowder with a bottle of wine absolutely gorgeous food definitely on our list to come back the staff were so friendly a great place!

Excellent again. Lovely variety of dishes - all well seasoned. Particularly loved the Cod & Lamb dishes this time around.

Polite staff, been here a couple of times one as a large group and another time as a trio. The food all came together as well as quite quickly both times and was hot as well as tasty. It cost us £30 per person including starters/a couple drinks.

Gwen and her staff were friendly and very helpful. Been coming here for 30 years whenever we are in the Dales.

Very good evening the food was good We come from Bradford and it's very hard to get a good curry down here this is one off the best the onion bargie was really nice the curry sauce was the best I've had since leaving Bradford 10 years ago well worth the visit

We had a lovely Sunday lunch at The Craven Arms. We were staying in the area at a holiday cottage, this place came recommended and we weren’t disappointed. We both had pea and mint soup with fresh crusty bread, so delicious. I had lamb lunch, my husband had beef. Really tasted beautiful, cooked to perfection. Huge Yorkshire pudding, generous portions of meat, vegetables and gravy. Staff were lovely, very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Nice relaxing atmosphere, restaurant clean, tidy and well organised. Would definitely recommend!

Been several times. Great food, brilliant service. They allow well behaved dogs which is a bonus for us. We eat out regularly and this is one of our favourites. Will definitely go again.
