Amazing food would definitely recommend.

Booked for breakfast on Christmas Eve. All very efficient despite it being full, lovely food, best sausage I've had anywhere in Yarm. Will definitely be eating here again. My only concern was the online booking system whereby nothing happened, no confirmation email, until I phoned a day or so later.

Christmas Eve...absolutely belting food and a great Christmas atmosphere, all the staff are lovely.

We attended this restaurant for the first time given the good reviews on trip advisor, unfortunately I would not recommend it after the experience. The food itself was good, nothing spectacular, not ridiculously priced but at nearly £90 for the four of us, not at the cheap end for Hull either. What completely let the place down for me was the waitress who said she would arrange a half portion of one of the dishes for my young son, and then brought the full portion to the table and got a bit annoyed when I quickly noticed. When it came time to pay the bill we were charged full price for the dish. I paid because they clearly had no interest in rectifying this when I raised it and I didn't want the hassle Never had this happen before anywhere else.

No not happy when we came on Christmas eve I had booked the table to be told we had to sit elsewhere! Then no one turned up, also the food wasn't like we have had before no one came to ask how our food was, I've being going a lot of years in the past but on this occasion the staff weren't interested in us on the night, and the food was cold! £50 for 2 was not good for a poor night!!

We went to The Crown on Christmas Eve and had a very tasty Chinese Meal. Couldn’t have had better in a Chinese Restaurant. We have been to The Crown quite a few times and have never been disappointed.

Again another fantastically tasty meal at Maxis. My partner, a friend and I come here at least once a year, doesn't sound much but we live 30 miles away and there are Chinese restaurants closer. Always tasty food, attentive and respectful staff. The drive around York's ringroad is well worth it. We're never disappointed.

Food was lovely, service was lacking a bit - we didn't get onion rings with our order, so we asked for them & the waitress eventually put 2 onion rings on our table & we had to ask for knives & forks. They were clearly short staffed.

My birthday is on Christmas Eve. We arrived at 6:30pm thinking the restaurant maybe less busy, as is the case having a birthday at this time of year. We found the restaurant full of families celebrating and the atmosphere put you in a great party mood. Beautifully decorated and the staff were friendly and very efficient. This was our first visit and not knowing exactly what we were in for, looking at the extensive menu we went a bit nuts regarding the starters, The lovely lady who was taking our order stopped us from ordering too much, which is a first for me but, we were glad they did. When the food arrived the tastes and flavours were incredible. The main courses were cooked to perfection. One of the best Birthday meals I have had. we will definitely come back. You will not be disappointed.

Christmas Eve and a great start to festive eating.. a perfect meal for six of us- the place was full --as usual-- and the staff were attentive and pleasant.. the food was just the best .. and served without delay or hurry and fuss-- they didn't want to get rid of us and we were the last people out. Thanks to All at this superb little Italian, where they really have got the right formula.-- our next visit is already booked.

Lovely experience. Staff are very attentive and polite. Food came in a timely manner but we didn’t feel rushed. Generous portions and very reasonable in cost. I am gluten free and there were plenty of options for me. We will definitely return

First visit to Little Sicily and it was wonderful. The staff were excellent, really friendly and attentive. Shared a starter of garlic bread with tomato - it was a beautiful start to the meal, really tasty and hot! Mains, missus had Cannelloni Carne - which she loved, Dad had rack of lamb - loved it, I had chicken in peppercorn sauce which I was very happy with. Would highly recommend this restaurant, if you're near Brid!

We had a lovely meal at Sambuca last Tuesday. We all had pizzas, which were delicious and very reasonably priced. There was a very welcoming atmosphere and the waiting staff were friendly and accommodating. Thanks for a lovely evening.
