Had a very nice time catching up with an old friend over a very nice meal, my only slight negative is that the beer could have done to have been more chilled.

Another excellent meal. Long time since we have been but standard still as high. We did have mainly vegetarian meals. only one chicken meal. All were good.

Wonderful food! Lovely atmosphere and staff were so lovely and welcoming and we're keen to help if you were unsure on how to order or what to get, 100% recommend!

This was first visit to this restaurant. The service was great and the food was fantastic and a good size portion too. I had the beef styfado and it did not disappoint. Will be revisiting soon. Thanks for a great meal and great atmosphere.

To be honest we've been on our wedding anniversary for years we booked on line but when we got there they couldn't find it . The starters maxi special was as tastiest as good . The problem was the main course I has duck with prawn meat the duck was very thin and the prawn meat looked like fat with no taste. My husband had prawn curry but the prawns where over cooked

We chose the Aegean for our evening meal during an overnight stay due to the recommendations we had received from various friends who live in Hull. Lovely setting with a chilled atmosphere and very good service and the food was exactly what we both fancied. We enjoyed the platter for 2 and the cheesecake for dessert. We will definately definitely be back again!

Excellent food, lovely experience.

Overall a lovely experience. A few areas i think will improve over time. Firstly it would have been nice to be offered a drink at the bar as there looked to be lots to choose from but we were taken straight to our table. When asked what we would like to drink we asked for the wine list - but there isn't one - nor a full drinks menu so there was a bit of back and forth over what we wanted. The food was presented in a ornate way and everything looked really appetising. I do think for £10 though the scallop starter should have more than 2 scallops. We all enjoyed the 3 courses that we had and i can certainly recommend the pig cheek starter ! The only disappointing dish was the Blueberry Pana Cotta which had no wobble and little flavour. We will definitely return and for a new restaurant i believe its got loads of potential.

We visited on Tuesday the 17th, food, service and atmosphere was excellent hopefully back again soon.

It was really busy here but felt looked after. The food itself is as good as you've probably heard but the service was great. Girls who served me were lovely. Will come again next time I'm in Whitby.

Great atmosphere, amazing food and really friendly staff!

My third visit in 6 weeks, food, service and atmosphere all excellent. Just remember to ask for a gap between starters and main course if you like a bit of rest between courses.

Lovely location, great staff and fabulous food, will definitely return xx
