Meal was nice, waiting time between order and receipt of meal was around one hour which we were not informed of when arriving. The pub was very busy but as you had to pre book surely this could have been foreseen. The most frustrating part was getting the bill, we had to ask four times before receiving it. Portions were on the small side and were quite expensive at around £12.50 for standard food.

We both chose fish dishes from the specials board and what we received was restaurant quality food. It was excellent. However the couple on the next table order just fish and chips and this looked equally as good. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful even offering a taste of the house wine prior to ordering. All done in a completely Covid safe manner as well. Will be returning in the future for sure
