As usual,everything was spot on. It's been a long wait in lockdown, but we'll worth the wait.

Perfect dinner, served by the nicest staff ever. Audrey and Pamela are the absolute best. Professional, caring, attentive and so knowledgeable - what more could you ask for? I’ve missed them so much this last few months and I’m delighted they’re back and firing on all cylinders. Much love to all the Magpie folk and thanks so much for the “cook at home” meals. We booked a table on the first evening after lockdown and felt completely safe. As usual, the food was beautifully cooked and presented. The staff are amazing, friendly and professional. Lovely evening

Nice foods, impressed by their self-made reman and sushi rolls. Easy find the restaurant, just next to a bus stop, having a meal next to it is not a good idea but we coped with that as COVID restriction not yet eased. Staff check the table frequently, lovely staffs. I will return and have another one after the lockdown. Highly recommended.

Delicious food when it eventually came, a very long wait though (over an hour). Really good quality burgers and great chips. Sadly our drinks order and food order were both taken incorrectly. Staff very friendly and kind about the errors.

We had a weeks holiday and ate here on our last night. Tables outside were well spaced. Service was excellent and food, although a limited choise due to Covid, was also very good. Lots of friendly staff. I would definetly recommend to anyone wanting a safe meal in good settings. It was dog and children friendly making it ideal for families as well as couples and friends.

We booked a few weeks in advance to have a meal yesterday. Our table was ready when we got there, the staff we're very polite. Its the first time we've been after passing a few times in the past and we weren't disappointed. It was a gorgeous sunny day so we had a beautiful view over the sea. The kids played in the play area while we waited for our food. There was a mix up with the food but staff were very apologetic and it was sorted as quickly as they could so it wasn't a major problem The food was worth the wait. It was very nice. We definitely plan to eat here again in the future .

Was great to be back in my favourite seaside pub staff were very friendly and efficient food was excellent .

The food, drinks, and staff are always wonderful. One of my favourite restaurants in Leeds, could not recommend it more!

I was so disappointed that when we came on a Saturday evening that there were no pizzas on the menu (I love the pizzas) but even with limited menu the food was still beautiful. Looking forward to a more lively atmosphere and outdoor music.

Really well organised and COVID safe. Lots of staff working hard to keep us well supplied. Pizza menu fab.

Grandsons treat for mothers day a sunday lunch takeaway,very disappointed as I expected and was looking forward to a nice meal from Capri. The main course was spoilt with the vegetable selection wasn't fit to eat been just blanched and hard. The roast potatoes even worse frozen pots like warmed up,must of been cooked hours earlier. Not one bit impressed, only thing nice was the trays the food was in.

Came here just before New Year Lovely meal and service. Social distancing and other Covid measures in place. Would return.

We have been visiting the Magpie for many many years now. It is by far the best seafood restaurant in Whitby, offering dishes that the others just can’t compete with. I love the salmon and haddock gratin with Thermidor sauce, and travel the distance just for this! My partner always has the traditional fish and chips, but tries all the different starters they have to offer, each time we visit. I cannot speak highly enough of this restaurant, service, staff, food, all excellent. Can’t wait for our next visit!

I come here with my little girl and food is always really nice and hot, always goes out of the way and make us feel welcome every time.

As always, good food, not overly priced and served by helpful and interested staff.
