My partner and I were not disappointed. Chicken and mushroom pie with chips and mushy peas for me and steak pie chips and mushy peas for him. Delicious. Home made pies and chips were soooooo tasty. We will definitely go again. Their one way system through the club to order was very well worked out keeping all customers at a safe distance. Service was fast and efficient. Still maintaining their friendly service. Thanks for reopening. It's always been a great pub to visit especially with its dog friendly policy. We would recommend to anyone.

Showed to table very quickly as not too many people in. Sat upstairs which has a good vibe and plenty of room to social distance. Service was good and friendly and staff were attentive but not in your face. Food selection is good and reasonably priced. Food was really nice

Called in on Sunday for our sunday dinner, been here many times before and always enjoyed our meals. The service has always been good and staff are really nice. I was really impressed with how they have dealt with the new rules which have come into place due to covid, they where so efficient and organised. We will be back again soon.

We had a beautiful meal on Saturday night. The food was amazing as was the service, the waiters went above and beyond to ensure our visit was both enjoyable and very safe. The restaurant was spotlessly clean, our first actual night out since the lockdown began and can honestly say it couldn’t have been any better. Thank you so much .

What a great evening. All necessary COVID precautions in place but that didn't detract at all. The staff were brilliant, atmosphere welcoming. the meal was huge and very tasty, Even our doggy had her own menu.

We visited on a Friday evening at 18:30. The food was delicious and came in a timely manner. Staff were all attentive and friendly. Social distancing measures were great with screens and hand sanitizer in place. We will definitely be returning soon!

Delicious meal, well presented. We were the only couple eating in the restaurant as it was early evening and soon after the easing of the lockdown, so the atmosphere was quiet, with Greek music in the background. A good number of people came in to take out. The food was authentic Greek and good portions. The service was excellent, and overall it was good value for money. The hotel location is not the best part of town but the quality of food and service were superb.

Visited the Ship on a day trip to Bridlington. We had been before a couple of years ago and loved it. Due to current circumstances we booked a table in advance to ensure we could get a table. The procedures in place to keep us all safe are amazing but doesn’t destruct from the experience. We downloaded the app to order drinks and food. My hubby had the bacon & cheese burger which was huge and I had the norther fried chicken ... both were really tasty. Would definitely return

Regular visits to The Shipp Inn. Sunday Lunch is very good. Good Homemade Food. Exceptional service even while managing Covid-19 regulations.

Visited on July 4th and it was fabulous!!!! Hand sanitizer everywhere, all staff were wearing masks, tables well spaced out, disposable menus......felt VERY safe. Unbelievable value for money, food is gorgeous and loads of it and they even made me a special mocktail. Well done guys. Would highly recommend.

Although we didn't have food it all looked very nice. This was the first day after lockdown release and it is a very hard thing to get perfectly correct but things were handled as well as could be expected. Thank you. It made my husbands birthday. X

We came on the first day of the Great Reopening - we've always enjoyed The Ship (and its legendary fish and chips) so it was the natural choice for lunch while taking in birding at Bempton! It would be enormously unfair to judge them on a very difficult day; there were clearly one or two glitches, but staff inside and out coped admirably and with great charm. My husband is disabled, and we were very pleased to discover the excellent dedicated toilet facilities, which I don't think were there on our last visit. The fish, as ever, was first rate, and was great value for money.

Despite Covid19, your team were great. Special mention to Michael he was fab!! Keep doing what you are doing, it was enjoyable. Superb homemade chips xxxxx
