Fantastic !!! Food amazing and staff great too Definitely be back

We just moved into the area and getting to try out our local restaurants. Sambuca was extremely delicious food, plenty of choice on the menu, including some things I have never tried before. We will definitely recommend Sambuca and will be back to try more of your dishes.

All the latest guidelines were followed. The staff were friendly and polite. My wife had the banquet for two. The food was excellent and served promptly. Many thanks.

I dont do reviews but will make an exception on this occasion impressed with on line booking system impressed with ease at which i changed my booking when i couldnt make the original the distancing arrangements were excellent. staff friendly and helpful. food very good (haddock and chips) service very good excellent value for money

Excellent food & service.

My first visit was 14/08/20 for my Daughters birthday meal, a lot of my work colleagues recommended the restaurant and I am very pleased I listened to them. The food was lovely and the staff were brilliant. Most importantly my daughter really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere and being able to spend time together which has been in short supply due to lockdown. Thank you and I hope to visit soon.

We eat here on a Friday and it was a great start to our evening! Atmosphere was fab, great food and cocktails and we were looked after very well by the staff! Would definitely recommend!

Although the food was first class & staff pleasant the service between starters & main course was very poor it took over an hour and we had to ask. Others were coming in after us & leaving before we got our main course which kind of spoilt the meal.

Food and service were wonderful as always, I have been visiting Fuji Hiro for several years. Food gorgeously presented and a wonderful selection, and staff were great. However, under the present circumstances I was very worried during my meal about social distancing within the restaurant--the occupied table next to ours was not even 1m away and it felt very uncomfortable. I did book ahead so our visit wasn't something squeezed in unexpectedly. The staff are obviously trying their best and I understand it is difficult for restaurants to remain in business with lower footfall.

We came to maxis at York on 12 August, guidelines were followed and staff were friendly. Food was lovely as always ,we will be back soon thank you.

Easy Booking system and made the most of the eat out to help out scheme. Great atmosphere with friendly, welcoming staff. The food is amazing with great size portions. We felt at ease and comfortable as the tables are well distanced and a one in one out system for the toilets works well.

Amazing food and service. We thoroughly enjoyed our banquet. The staff were attentive, observed all social distancing rules and we didn’t feel rushed at all. Even though they were busy. Great value for money - we will be back.

We booked in at Fuji Hiro during the Eat Out Help Out initiative. The restaurant was busy so I would recommend booking. We have starters, gyoza & yakatori and then sushi bento boxes. All of the food was fabulous and some of the best Japanese food I have eaten in The Uk. Sushi was beautifully presented and contained a wide variety of fish plus tempura, rice and salad. There is quite an extensive menu and we plan to return on a regular basis. To try other dishes. The restaurant is very reasonably priced for the quality of food served.

Absolutely beautiful place! Food was incredible, great service and a relaxed environment. We had the 50% off Eat Out to Help Out deal, but will definitely be returning when this deal is over as well!

I am local to the area and absolutely love the ship inn . The staff are great . Nothing is to much effort . Food is outstanding and in such a lovely place on the headland.
