I've eaten in various places in the uk and I must say that Da Vinci is up there with the best. The menu is refreshing and it was a joy to see red snapper on the menu. I had mussels for a starter followed by red snapper as a main which was cooked to perfection. Compliments to the chef for the effort and presentation which was top draw. The meal was washed down with a pint of Berra Moretta a premium Italian larger which is not readily available was a joy. Atmosphere and music very relaxing if you don't believe I urge you all to try for yourselves And see if I'm not right ,thanks to all at Da Vinci.

What a fantastic place ,staff were very welcoming and the feel was very warming. Ordered steak and that was so tender and the new owner has even started growing herbs in rear garden ..what a lovely touch. I'l be going back here again.

We just popped in as we were waiting for friends to arrive and thence a trip around the castle. Very pleasant young man who was the waiter and a lovely lady who served our tea for two and scones. Faultless; we'll be back for an afternoon tea soon. Mike

Hi I am the owners grandchild and I dont know why people are being so mean to my grandad and the food is very yummy and the food is up to the best standards and the food is acutally made by my uncles and they put all there effort in to make my grandads buisness succesfull . And as some people said my grandad swore he didn't because he isn't like that , and they said he doesn't know how to dress smart and yes he does because he wears a suit everyday and he spends loads of money on his resturant . I hope you respect what I say thanks :D

Visited today for first time after recommendation from a friend. We had a pleasant experience, food was tasty & hot, the only thing lacking was a bit of colour garnish on the paninis but otherwise food was well presented (love the "bucket" of chips!). Prices were reasonable, service friendly & efficient & we were offered hot water to top up the tea. The colourful, interesting decor gave a nice ambience. The cafe has full wheelchair access & disabled facilities & is now licensed. Don't go on a Monday however as they are not open! Will be back soon to check out the afternoon tea!

I visit Ellie Maes Bistro regularly and both the food and service is always excellent. I would not hesitate to take friends and family there for every occassion.

Our family eat here regularly and have done for a number of years, we have never been disapointed. The staff are absolutely fantastic and always go beyond the call to make us feel like extended family. I would recommend this restuarant to anybody without hesitation. The food is always delicious and the atmosphere is perfect whatever the occasion.

It was a very warm, sunny Friday. We decided to have lunch at Prashad, our favourite vegetarian restaurant in Bradford. The Patel family – Mohan, Kaushy, Bobby, Mrinal and Mayur were there, as was the smiling Imran the restaurant Manager who informed us bout the good news that he was going to be a father. We congratulated Imran and wished him all the very best for the new addition to his family. We ordered our bhel supreme; idli sambar, dudhi and chana; and puries. We had a fabulous lunch and a great afternoon.

We visited Rice as a passing visitor. The waitress was immediately warm and welcoming and seated us In seconds. The drinks order was taken and very soon we were sipping away perusing our menu. Unlike many, we were not hassled to order whilst still deciding, the waiters choosing to wait until we had finished looking an had closed the menu. As a Slimming World Consultant I love a menu to be self explanatory of the ingredients enabling me to make tasty AND healthy choices. This was indeed the case, and moreso a dish was named 'A Healthy Option' and it really was! This I selected....and was extremely impressed with the fabulous curry that was served to me. Despite not living locally, having experienced fab food and even better customer service.....I would venture over to Yeadon again to sample alternatives from this tasty menu Definitely impressed :-)

I've been getting the indian mixed grill for years, its the best indian takeaway in Leeds easily. I've just ordered one now:)

I attended the Public Lecture of the Bradford Theosophical Society where my friend Kathy was the guest speaker. Afterwards my friends in Shipley with whom Kathy was staying for the weekend, invited me to join them for dinner in Prashad. Of course, Prashad being my favourite Indian restaurant in Bradford I accepted their invitation gladly. I chose my favourite dishes, mango lassi, papad, special chaat and masala dosa. We had a lovely time. The new venue is brilliant.

We had a visiting lecturer from New York staying at our home for the weekend. Kathy was on a short lecture tour of England and had come to Shipley to lecture at the Public Meeting of the Bradford Theosophical Society. We took her to our favourite restaurant, Prashad. Kathy had not experience Indian vegetarian cooking before. We explained the various dishes to her. We were not disappointed with our choice. Kathy was in seventh heaven and enjoyed the evening immensely. So thank you Prashad for giving us yet another great experience.

I am from New York and was on a short lecture tour of England. I was in Shipley to give a lecture to the Bradford Theosophical Society. My hosts brought me to Prashad for dinner. It was a unique experience that I am so glad that I was given this unique experience to take part in. What a delightful restaurant so tastefully decorated and set out. Then there was the food! I had not tasted such delicious dishes before. I had Mango Lopez; Mixed Vegetable pakoras; Masala Dosa; Idli Sambar; Chickpea Cholé; Mixed Vegetable Rice – dishes I had not heard of before never mind tasted. It was a heavenly dreamlike experience of flavours, textures, tastes and aromas. My hosts explained the intricacies of the various dishes and their origins in the Indian subcontinent. I was an evening to cherish.

I have had more than my fair share of meals from these lads and the only time I have been disappointed was when they shut up shop for a while. There is plenty of competition but NO one can better them. I love and respect all the lads. Vic.
