Went there last November for gothic weekend. Didn't book but they got us a table for two. Very pleasant staff and food to die for. We will book this year deffo, can't wait and they booked a taxi, great stuff xxx.

My daughter and I went about three weeks ago, I have a broken leg and they made me really comfortable and provided excellent, impressive food and a lovely atmosphere. Its BYO - corkage - no problem, works out very good value for money.

I visited the restaurant last night and had a take away. It was excellent. I spoke to the chef who was very informative as I told him I dont like very hot currys and chose a korma with prawms on his advice he said let me do you a curry very mild. It was superb and the muishroom rice was very tasty.. You must try this restorante. Very friendly and helpful. Never been before but will certainly go again.

We have just got fish and chips from here and the fish was overcooked, cold not fresh. The chips were cold we were very disappointed with the meal and it was a complete waste of money.

Waited 20 mins to be seated at dirty table and waited ten more mins as we watched 3 other couples being served before table was cleared and cleaned. Eventually placed order which came dripping in oil/grease minus sons pop and my bread. Went to counter to ask for both missing items and sat back down and carried on eating my meal with NO BREAD or pop. After finishing my meal low and behold the bread turned up so I said they might as well take it back as I had finished. Partners fish was mainly batter but unlike me doesn't like to complain. Real shame as me and 13 friends always call for fish and chips after a days fishing on rachel k, but after this weekends visit will be looking for another chippy.

Early days. Some dishes were not available and other inferior options were offered and served. Very small tapas portions. Flavour was limited and the team have a lot of learning ahead if them. Pleasant service but ineffective.

This hotel is lovely. My husband and me stayed recently with our dog. We had a lovely welcome and the food is really excellent. We ate in the bar area in the evening as we had our dog with us, but it was fine. My husband said it was the best steak he had ever had and I chose from the wide vegetarian menu. The food is wonderful. This can also be said for the breakfast and I even had vegetarian sausages, which were beautiful. I recommend this hotel as it is an ideal location, the welcome is warm and the food is stunning. OK, there is some road noise, but it does not go on all night. I slept fine. I will definitely be returning.

Excellent food.

Have been to this restaurant half a dozen times and can't recommend it enough. Great food, great value and you dont end up getting ripped off on your wine as you can bring your own and the off licence next door has a good selection. Waiters are helpful but not hovering around you. Best indian weve tried in Hull.

I treated my family for a family meal. Altogether there was six adults two children the Story Teller was recommended to us but was disappointed with our meals. Ordered 3 mixed grills steaks were tough.

Speedy service, nice hot food, friendly staff.

We tried this restauarant when we visited the area on holiday as it was a new addition to the Hi-Life Platinum restaurant listings. So glad we did as the food was excellent, possibly best meal out we've ever had, and the ambiance and service were also exceptional. It is advertised as a speciality fish restaurant, and it certainly is. We now plan to return for an overnight stay so we can enjoy a few drinks with another gorgeous dinner, as the hotel reviews also look fab. Can't wait!!!

Excellent home cooked fresh food, very reasonable prices, good selection of beers (free house). Kids menu good ( no chicken nuggets) and children are always welcome, lovely atmosphere.

My apologies about previous review! It was for the salute at rothwell NOT the plough inn at warmfield.

This was our first visit to salute, I ordered the chicken and bacon spring rolls, but found them difficult to cut because the were so hard. My husband and I shared a pizza which was very doughy and under cooked.The service was friendly but rushed? We also disagree with the 10 service charge which is added on without you knowing! For the amount we paid we expected better quality cooking, we are sorry if we've offended anyone but it was not a good experience and probably won't be returning.
