I live near this pub and it is now a bikers pub with bikes arriving and leaving at all hours swearing and shouting.

Having never been here before all I have to say is what a find!! The food is excellent, lovely attentive staff and a real cosy feel about it. The food was the best bit though, as I suppose it should be. Faultless!

The best curry ever this year, got some realy tasty curry. Evreyone should try it !

We are going here soon, why can't we see any pics or go to their website like other places?

I reviewed the Royal Spice in 2007 and raved about it then. Its now 2012 and if anything the food is even better and the staff have become great friends! Just got back from a 'top indian eaterie' in North London. It was very nice, but still cant match up to the Royal Spice in North Barnsley. I pity any fan of indian food who has never experienced 'the spice'

I've eaten here a few times over the last few years but I think this place is getting better each time! Keep it up, we will keep coming!

Great night last week, thanks to the staff who made it so memorable and a massive thanks to the chefs whose cooking was perfect!! Such an excellent meal, thanks again.

went to this pub for the first time and had the best turkey lunch ever and the desserts were to die for what a lovely place to go even for a drive out i would go again

Aroma has been recommended by a friend and we enjoyed it so much! Very friendly staff, treat you like their best mate! Would reccomend!

Absolutly Fantastic Fish and chips, cant rate it high enough, must be the cheapest around...Keep up the true meaning of the word customer service. Only criticism is its always busy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not impressed by the Sunday carvery, veg was soggy and mushey. stuffing was left out to dry and the mash was runny. A warm welcome but the food really let it down. Unfortunately we won't be eating here again.

Dreadful service, waitress kept moanin about how she diod not get paid enough to put up with lip from Chef. She was moaning about other customers in front of customers. Very unprofessional and abrupt in manner. No politeness and certainly no training . Food is cheap but nor brilliant. Disappointing. Need to shake up their attitudes.

Have eaten here a number of times in recent months, and have been blown away every time, by food, service and atmosphere. Menu choice is excellently varied and I was pleased to find that not everything is laden with lemongrass, not being a fan myself. Very discerningly flavoured dishes have been immaculately and attractively served on every visit. Whilst the Early Bird offers excellent value for money, I have consistently found the pricing otherwise to be very reasonably indeed. Highly recommend.

I had a meal with my wife and a friend it left a lot to be desired. I complained about it being to salty and not being good value nobody took any notice and WE WILL NOT BE GOING THERE AGAIN
