Spice House – HaltonGot there too early. 5:40p.m. asked to wait till 6:00p.m. glad we did! Early bird was fantastic. Excellent bread board with olives and sundried tomatoes while waiting for starters. Hot, fresh, very tasty food served by professional people, (maybe a few smiles wouldn't go amiss though). Booking advisable as there is no waiting area really. Definitely an eating pub, albeit a very nice one.
Gray Ox – Liversedgewe visited salute in January 2012 our view was over priced mediocre food watch out for the service charge on your bill !! wont be visiting again and we wont recommend this to anyone.
Salute @ The White Swan – RothwellI am from Dundee. I am here to give lectures to the Theosophical Societies in Bradford and Leeds. When I came to Bradford last year, my hosts brought me to Prashad for our dinner. We came to Prashad again today. I had a Faluda, the pure ambrosia drink of the Gods! We had papadums with four different pickles. Then it was Bhel supreme and Patra. Next was South Indian Rava Utthapam and Idlis; followed by rengan (aubergines) and potatoes with rotlis. For dessert, I had mango shrikhand, a delicious yoghurt dish. It was a divine banquet. Bradford must be proud to have this wonderful little restaurant. Surely, even the gods would queue up outside Prashad to dine here.
Prashad – Bradfordthis is a pure indian food restaurant
Spice House – HaltonExcellent food, service and value for money x2 meals x2 drinks for £16 (cheaper than macdonalds lol) lovely clean place would highly recommend

Yorkshire Rose – HuddersfieldFOOD - 5 *, STAFF SERVICE - 5*, ATMOSPHERE - 5*, PRICE - WORTH EVERY PENNY! We have eaten here on more than one occasion and the one word to describe our experience - EXHILARATING!! The staff are so friendly and cannot do enough for you, on their toes all the time and always smiling and show to like their jobs and get on with the punters too. Out of the way a bit and if you don't know where it is, you would find it hard to get there. YOUR A FOOL IF YOU DON'T GIVE IT A GO. YOU WILL WANT TO GO BACK :D
Wheatsheaf Inn – CleckheatonHaving read the previous reviews we decided to sample the food and hospitality at The Wheatsheaf Inn. We were definitely not disappointed. The food and staff were second to none and we would recommend this hostelry as a must visit venue. Great value, great food and great service.

Shama Balti – Huddersfieldbeen to barnbrooks about 6 or 7 times since it opened and always had a very good experience! BUT went there for my birthday on the 31/01/12 and was greatly disappointed! the menu had changed (whats happened to the fabulous chicken Cajun starter?) there was only me and my husband and another family of four in so you would expect everything to be perfect but the prawn cocktail was basic (even cheap) and the brussceta had hardly any cheese and when asked for salad cream there was none to be had not even a sachet! how can a restaurant have no salad cream? then our main was sirloin steak with cajun battered king prawns which i asked for medium to well done and which was ooozing blood when it was served to me! and there was no sauces to go with the steak and no sour cream to go with the cajun prawns! this one dish was £21.98 and was very basic and not cooked right at all! we didnt have a sweet which we had been looking forward to, as we were worried about how bad that would be so we left! the bill for this disaster without sweets was £61.40! and as we left the man in charge said did you enjoy your meal? no i said and told him everything that was wrong "oh" he lamely said i will have a word with chef! and that was it no oh dear i will give you a free sweet or knock you a little off your bill! i just shook my head paid and left! thats the last of our hard earned money that barnbrooks will ever get! really bad service!
Barnbrooks Bar & Grill – BarnsleyQuite clearly the worst food I have ever tasted in my whole life period!! - Absolutely frighteningly bad.
Yorkshire Rose – Huddersfieldwarning do not go to this restaurant, the service is the worst we have ever had, and the food was very bland at the least, we ordered the chicken tikka and jalfraze and the garlic n cheese nahn bread the worst meal we ever had, we eat out all the time, we,ll never be going back here again

Barnbrooks Bar & Grill – BarnsleyCame here in a group of six and for a change ordered starter platters as well as main dishes. The starters were absolutely delicious, especially the spicy paneer and tikka fish - the only snag was that we then had less room for the delicious mains. Always a pleasure though.
